He realizes that away from an Internet message board he is unpopular with the majority of vale fans.

 

You mean a minority of Vale fans and a ****-stirring Notts Forest fan?

 

He overpowered the protest groups last time, became the face of the anti-board campaign and managed to somehow grab defeat from the jaws of certain victory.

 

There was never a certain victory because of the personal vendetta Bratt and Oliver had against him. Had it not been for the lack of morals from Robert Lee and the old board, the interim board would have got power in June.

 

This time he is wisely keeping himself in the background.

 

Where you should be seen as Forest are dead certs to get relegated.
