Yeah that’s a good point when looking at the relegation battle. Exeter and Carlisle have improved but Reading and Fleetwood are weaker. I would have like him here but if Wrexham are interested then that ends that. The Burke rumour would be nice if true although would see us changing the way we play so I can’t see it myself.

I’m not so sure. There is a whole page on this thread where he is name calling on 3 different posts. Every single post he disagrees with there is also an insult included. Different option is absalutley fine, name calling every post ins’t.

Be nice to read a post from you where you don’t insult someone who has a different view. Honestly the worst poster on here by far. In my opinion we’re desperate for a LWB yes. But I don’t think we’re desperate for another young inexperienced one on loan. If we’re going down that route I’d rather us stick with Grant and have Shorrock to back him up, develop our young player instead of someone else’s.

Shouldn’t since so many injury prone players and most on that list aren’t remotely good enough anyway. The reason we have struggled isn’t because, Yak, Balmer, jones and Cass have been injured. I get we have had some bigger players out, Wilson (expected) Ojo, plant but every side suffers this and we need to built the squad better so that we can cope - dosent necessarily mean more players, just better players and maybe a couple that are comfortable in a few positions.

A few wanted him on here in the summer and I was glad then we didn’t get him. We’re desperate for strikers but that Dosent mean we should sign any old striker, made that mistake on deadline day in the summer. I imagine we were interested with Uche out and I’m very glad he’s not joining us.

It’s hard to say as you could say that for any side. Let’s say every other side has the same injuries and we had none, I think we would be mid table more or less yes. Clarke started well and is clearly our best wing back and Ojo is clearly our most influential player. But injuries happen to all sides and we just haven’t coped.

Every side has injuries. We sign injury prone players and then moan when they miss large parts of the season.

I just don’t see why we constantly disregard this window. Yes it’s more expensive / difficult to sign players, but others do it whilst we stand still / go backwards, signing loans to fill gaps for 6 months and then needing to sign more players in the summer. Every window should be used to strengthen and I feel we constantly waste this window as it’s too expensive.

We wouldn’t challenge. Best players would leave and we would have the majority of the 11 filled with youth players. If we drop I think we’re in the <ovf censored>.

Do we have the players to play possession football? I’d argue not. It’s also not worked, what has worked is high pressing and being aggressive, surely we would go with what worked against Blackpool rather than what hasn’t worked on the majority of occasions. Unless you prefer 70% of the ball and 3 shots.

Dipepa and lomax look way off this level at the moment to me. Walters too. All 3 need a loan move. The only one at the moment that I think is worth having in the squad in Shorrock. Plant is good enough as well obviously. No idea on Brazier have a feeling it’s all agent talk otherwise he would have been involved with us.
