What?! Vale were already in good position when Crosby took caretaker. Moore took over a team who were almost one down before the game started. You can't compare. I aren’t 😂 what you on about? I was saying he had a better ratio than Moore at vale because a large portion of his win ratio ( 53% ) was in league 2 with a team going for promotion. Moore can only be judged & compared to the previous manager when he’s had more time with them & given a run in league 2 next season

But he had a better squad. Vale were on a roll in league 2. Near the top. Exactly. Pushing for promotion in a league below

I can’t argue with that. Some of that was with Vale in league 2 tho when he stepped in for Clarke on compassionate leave. So as I said before it’s only right to compare & judge when Moore has a full season with vale & also at league 2 level

He did, 53%. Over 17 games. Give him 295 games as a manager & see if it’s anywhere near that. He won’t manage another game in his life at any decent level

There’s been a lot of managers who have struggled at West Brom & Doncaster in recent times regardless of if they’ve got money or not. Let’s hope he’s given the funds this season to push us on cus I get your point but as I said not everyone has done well at those clubs I’ve just mentioned before & after Moore was there. Manchester United are a fine example of a club with plenty of cash where managers have continuously failed one after another pretty much since Fergie left. Like yourself I haven’t been convinced by Moore so far at his time at Vale but with the club saying we will have a very competitive budget next season I do have some optimism, even more based on the fact he’s done well at clubs that have backed him as you say mate 👍🏻

You won’t find too many managers out there with an overall 43% win ratio coming to the Vale. As I’ve already said in a previous post this next season is huge in the gaffers career. Looking forward to see who he brings in now

No different to there was no guarantee we would have stayed up with Moore in charge. I think it just shows how poor this squad of players are, but I feel we had to make a change. We were on a horrendous run under Crosby & only heading one way. The loss at home to Cheltenham is when the change should have been made but let’s face it Carol was never going to sack Crosby after a defeat to Clarke

Just watched the video from the owners. Fair play they were very honest & open. You can tell they’ve suffered like us fans just look how much they’ve aged! Good to see them both smiling. We all know this season has been awful having seen our team lose pretty much week in week out & end up being relegated but I’m actually missing it already after only 2 weeks 😅 roll on august & up the vale 💪🏻
