  1. Devine, Thomas who Crosby treated poorly and then he had a player at his disposal who is playing in the Premier League. If we take a step back, we are actually arguing about which manager is worse, Crosby or Moore. Crazy if you think about it
  2. With some you can but then that's just hanging around waiting to see if another club would actually do that and then that buggers up your planning & recruiting of players. Pay up 2 or 3 and then place a handful more on the transfer list
  3. Lets not forget that included in that run was losing to bottom of the table Carlisle and getting thrashed at second from bottom of the table Fleetwood. Let's not forget that Moore had a much weaker squad to choose from compared to what Crosby had and even then Crosby messed up big style
  4. I agree to an extent but players & their agents will listen to sensible offers to pay up their contract because a) they will not be playing next season b) Their money will already be reduced this season because of relegation clauses in the contract c) If they are not playing, they will not pick up any bonuses for wins, positions in table etc (I know that sounds hard to believe after the last 18 months d) it will do their career no good at all for the following season, if they just want to sit on their contract whilst not playing and then trying to sign for a new club. It would be a bad look for them if they played a season without any games and it looks like they have an attitude because they would rather get paid then move on and play. We can play right hard ball on this and I'm expecting we will with one or two contracted players Even though they are still under contract, we will be very lucky to keep hold of the likes of Garrity, Ripley and Chislett. The Power is still very much in those players hands with what they want to do next season
  5. These boys are not from Boslem, so, we would not be interested Bergkamp, Kuyt and Larsson ‘in process’ of takeover at EFL club and one will become manager FANBANTER.CO.UK
  6. Not sure what your understanding of abuse is but none, whatsoever's, been thrown at you
  7. Blackpool currently have great owners Mansfield Town have had great owners for a number of years now Crystal Palace have got good owners and have had them for a number of years Coventry have had great owners for a number of years now Wrexham have had great owners for 3 years now Portsmouth have had great owners for a number of years now which is a continuation of the guy that wanted to invest in Port Vale but got rebuffed so brought Portsmouth instead Chester have been run really well fro the past 7 years or more now Would you like me to do a list of clubs that have ace owners to combat your's?
  8. Its not how you interpreted before. Thank you for putting that right. P.S. I have not abused you. No apology needed though
  9. So, in short, you have no idea, what soever, of who could be potentially interested in owning Port Vale now or in the past. You are just basing it on your own without substance theories. Thank you clearing that up
  10. Are you going to be d1ck all the time on here? If so, please just delete your account 100% Bill Bratt you are. The only shock in this, is that you actually know how to use a computer.
  11. We can be in a position where we offer 2 or 3 players a settlement for the rest of their contracts. Here you go Grant, he is 3 or 6 months salary, now go find yourself a new club
  12. How many times are you going to avoid the question Bill? Are you Bill Bratt? Are you Bill Bratt? Are you Bill Bratt? Are you Bill Bratt?
  13. worse than losing to Chasetown, worse than the first team manager and first team coach fighting on the first team bus on the way to a match, worse than administration? Wake up clown, guess who was at the helm at all of that?
  14. Do not mis-quote me, I never said "owner or CEO of Port Vale wouldn't tell us about them". I or nobody else should be told about them,, it should be kept all in house until a time when the club is ready to sell the club or accept investment into the club. People are assuming that no one is willing to buy the club just because the club have not mentioned it, does not mean that people have not approached the club about buying the club. So, you and many other fans are wrong on that point. The vast majority of the clubs have good owners. In fact, I would suggest that most of the owners of Football League clubs are not "low-lifes" such as Smurthwaite or Bratt. Unless you actually Carol or a director of the club, how do you know exactly what type of people are interested in buying Port Vale unless you are actually involved at the club at Director level? "I'm just further stressing that we, the supporters as a whole, shouldn't hold false views about there being loads of genuine buyers out there who are interested in taking over Port Vale for constructive reasons, because there aren't." Again, without being involved at Director level at the club, how would you know? With how you write posts, you are involved in the club either that being that you are Carol, on the board of Directors or you are Matt Hancock. I would be interested to know which one of those is you.
  15. Unless you are Bill Bratt or Smurf, which you are not because I know you are a respected Vale fan, you will not have any clue of who would have been interested in or not interested in the club when underneath their leadership (I really do not like using the word leader when it comes to Bratt or Smurf). You will only know what's been spouted out to you by both of those cretins.
  16. Tell you now, Chesterfield are going to walk this league next season. They have a manger that would have come here last summer, that is amongst one of the the best managers outside the Championship. He's proved it and proved time & time again. They got new owners around 12 months ago who are brothers and they are estimated to be worth £500 million. Great manger, great wealthy owners.
  17. I think with the season they have just had, rightly or wrongly, he is playing down expectations. That could help him in the transfer market when trying to sign players. I could be wrong
  18. Love how you never answer any questions? Whats your relationship to yourself Bill? Who originally brought MA to the Club, Bill? Who originally got Robbie Williams to invest £250k but took all the credit away from that person and took the glory for himself Bill? MA severance pay from Sheffield United did not even have time to hit his bank account before Vale were on the phone begging for him to come back. What other 3rd & 4th tier clubs were in for MA at that time?
  19. He did not lose money, you absolute clown. He conned his way into being chairman of the club for very little investment. He then awarded himself a massive wage in doing so and then changed all the shareholder's t & c's so that he could not be removed. He then was on a beach in the Caribbean, sticking his two fingers up to all the Port Vale supporters & all the shareholders, after being the only shareholder to get his little, pathetic investment back whilst the club went into administration because of his shabby leadership. He is the biggest con man of them all. Maybe him and Smurf should join forces and buy Tranmere Rovers to show us what we are all missing
  20. Not really. When MA stock was low after a disaster of a time at Sheffield United? Who brought MA originally to the club? Plus why are you ignoring the questions of who you are?
  21. What are you going on about ? He never dipped his hands in his pocket, he just took took and took. Did i read on here many years ago or did I dream it up that in exchange for some free new windows at his home, he gave a contract to a window firm to fit all the new windows on the Lorne Street Stand? Maybe you can confirm if that is true Bill? Under Bill Bratt, we were relegated and lost to Chasetown which is pretty much the most embarrassing result in the clubs history - Then we went into administration with him at the helm. Well done with all the above my pal Bill
  22. That is still a kind of scaremongering still though. Unless you are the owner of a club, which obviously you are not (no disrespect with that comment because I agree with everything you post) then with us being just normal supporters, we just don't know. The world is such a smaller place these days and such a richer place too I will state this again, I do not want Carol to sell. I'm jus making the argument against people saying their is nobody out there that would want to buy the club etc I'm glad that she is going to have a go at putting things right next season even though I do not agree with everything she put in her open letter on Saturday. I do also believe that when Carol does decided to sell, this year , next year, in 5 years time or 10 years time, then I truly believe that she will find even better owners than what she is. But I hope she sticks around for a very long time and learns the lessons of the past 18 months
  23. I said it at the end of last season and I will say it again now. The whole defence needs replacing. Jones should have never been given a new contract. I would have played more games than him & i'm nearly 50 and unfit. Smith's not been very good for two seasons now and yet people think miraculously he's going to be good in league 2. Why is a player being awful for 2 years suddenly going to become good? I can not wait for next week when Uche Ikpeazu is released and then we can stop this pathetic love in with a player that is never match fit and only scored once all season. He's a professional footballer and should be able to last 90+ minutes each week. Get rid of all the out of the contract player's because that instantly makes room for new recruits that want to play for the badge. People say that we should keep Garrity, Chislett & Ripley - I tell you now, we will not have a choice to keep them because with only 1 year left of their contracts, some League One sides will take a gamble on them in the summer and get them at a snip. That's not a dig at Carol by the way but that's how the world works in football transfers. I can imagine someone like Steve Evans taking Garrity to Rotherham for £250k. Let's stop signing players that have just been relegated with other teams because they have all got a losing mentality around them - Ripley, Mitch Clark, Chislett and Jenson Weir were all relegated last season. I do not want the stink of relegation hanging around the place or changing rooms next season, I want to see a winning mentality. We can not pay up players contracts, this is true but I would be going to Ojo, go find yourself a new club. I would go to Dan Jones and say here is 3 months wages, now, you can jog on. The same with Conor Grant and Jason Lowe. Offer them a pay off but not all the contract. Also, is it only me, but when James Plant first came onto the scene last season, he was a goal scoring, attacking midfielder? Whose stupid idea was it to start playing him at wing back? Let's play him in the position he burst onto the scene with, getting him scoring goals again and then sell him for a big fee. The sooner the club appoint a new a Director of Football or Head of Recruitment or whatever the title might be, the sooner that chosen person can start dealing with the aftermath of the last two seasons.
  24. @Alan Vit please re-read what I have put and then please re-phrase your questioning
