  1. Progress is always resisted at every stage
  2. What do you want me to acknowledge? That we are 22nd? Bit obvious that is isn't it. What sort of performance does a fanbase that boos it's own players before they've even kicked a ball actually deserve? Vale fans tend to be the 12th man. Usually for the other team
  3. Everybody has one so yes. It's not 1989 anymore
  4. Which would have nothing to do with 'behind the scenes' Obviously people don't go to watch losing football teams. But I fail to see what's going on 'behind the scenes' that's so concerning. Flitcroft not being very good isn't behind the scenes
  5. I'll be honest if you pulled up the squad from two years ago and now I don't think you would actually swap many of the players from then to now Proctor for Loft? Worrall for Sang? Anyone else?
  6. Then that's fine then. Rome fell in the end so Vale will as well. It'll be sad but we'll all get over it. Nobody has any divine right to be able to support a league 1 football club after all
  7. It's why I don't bother to be honest. I'll be signing out for another 6 months very soon
  8. Comprehensively disagree. Even of we go down, we can spend less off the pitch, have a better budget, and then when we come back up we'll be in a much stronger position. The off field stuff HAD to happen at some point, once it's done it's done
  9. I haven't called out anyone. I have said that people are angry because vale aren't winning. And I am correctly, pointing out that people don't care about behind the scenes if we win. He's destroying the club but before he came in it was much worse? Got it. The only person that can destroy the club is Carol. If I was her, I'd be starting right now and be getting my money back
  10. I am absolutely happy we've invested so much off the pitch because that investment is guaranteed and lasts for years. Anybody with any ounce of business sense will understand that, if we get relegated, we've still spent that money and it doesn't need spending again, so I'm very happy thanks. Does Dave Flitcroft not turn up and call in sick or have you made that bit up? Who's sacking carol if she makes a poor appointment? Bare in mind she says she knows nothing about football but you trust her to pick someone better?
  11. Never said he was. But then there's no guarantee that the replacement would be any better. What you gonna do? Change the DoF every year? Blame someone else then? Would we need new owners then?
  12. No people aren't renewing because we aren't winning, and by not winning we are in the relegation zone. Noone would give a <ovf censored> about Flitcroft if we were in 14th place
  13. So what would be him being good at his job, in your opinion? And who are you replacing him with
  14. No you've had the fortune of watching us in the championship. League 1 / League 2 is where Vale should be based on the size of the fanbase and catchment area. You've never had the misfortune of watching Vale in non League
  15. So you want the hierarchy to go every time we get relegated? Gotcha
  16. I'll be renewing regardless of league. People acting like we've never been in league 2 before even though it's where we spend the majority of our time 😂
  17. Why would we take a manager who has guided a team with a lot more money than us to a lower league position than us
  18. i really think you are selling us short there. His last job was Wycombe. Port Vale are a bigger team than Wycombe. Obviously geography is a big factor though
  19. They are still bank rolled, you can't build a gold plated stadium overnight
  20. These American owners buy these lower league clubs wanting to get them to the premier league but then sack good managers and bring in 'Big Names' they then proceed to not make it to the premier league and then complain about it
  21. I mean if they lose every <ovf censored> game this season they might be in danger of playing Port <ovf censored> Vale next season
  22. The NBA is probably the most 'Progressive' sports organisation in the Western world and even they haven't had a female head coach yet. In F1 Williams had a female team principal but that was mainly only because she was the daughter of the owner and was largely terrible. I think a female manager in men's professional football is still a long way off
  23. I'd quite like Norwich to be poor for a few years, watching the same teams get promoted and relegated each year is rather boring
  24. he was the Posh manager less than 12 months ago
