Love the optimism. Call you out on one point. Serious question….. You can see us getting 4/6 points from the next two games. We have only managed two points from our last 8 games and in our last two games we have lost both and the opposition goalkeeper hasn’t had a save to make. By all means have optimism but don’t let the obvious facts delude your delusion. Jones off injured means it will probably be Grant at left back on Saturday. One of the worst players I’ve seen up here who is robbing a living. Then we will all get to see Loft “run around” for a good 70 minutes at least, only to see him not trap a ball, pass a ball or score for another week. Rinse and repeat. The Reading commentators at times tonight said how we were keeping the ball. And it’s fans like you that get deluded in that aspect because we do absolutely nothing with it!!! Each to their own mate but we are an absolute shower of garbage. This sounds mad but I’d rather have a 38 year old Tom Pope for the last 15 games than that clown Loft. And Uche. I know it would never ever have happened but I’d take Popey now, playing for Witton Albion is he????…. On a two month contract of 1k a week with huge bonuses over Loft and Uche that we are forking 7k a week plus for. Said it before. Will continue to say it until Carol wakes the <ovf censored> up and that’s why I’ve come back on this site, but what a <ovf censored> disgraceful mess the DOF has left us with. Let alone the amount of Carols money he has spunked along the way.

I never said or thought Moore could save us. I saw the recruitment in the summer, didn’t get carried away by nicking 5 wins early on and always maintained that to have a decent season we need striking options. When we still didn’t get that in January it didn’t surprise me and put the nail in the coffin. It’s totally unforgivable what Flitcroft has done. Totally and interlay unforgivable. Read my post the other day on the “average fan”. We couldn’t care less about anything other than a match day. And the squad has deteriorated ridiculously fast since that play off final. Another thing. Isn’t Moore now Carols 4th manager since taking over in 5 years? Askey. Clarke. Crosby. Moore. Those last three got around 13 years contracts between them? Look mate. If something doesn’t look right it invariably isn’t. This club is an absolute basket case right now and quite frankly I wouldn’t trust Carol Shanahan as far as I can throw her. For all the good she has done, something does not add up and the red flags are flying for me.

My reaction was one of surprise at a 5 and a half year contract. But ultimately I was thinking it was too little too late for a proper manager to come in. The cynic in me would say they got him in to take the heat off Flitcroft. Because if we had appointed Mark Kennedy for example then there is no honeymoon period. Do I think he’s a good manager? Yes I do. Do I think he’s walked into a <ovf censored> show of a football club who haven’t the foggiest idea what to do in footballing terms? Yes I do. Do I think he will damage his reputation here under Flitcroft? Yea I do. Look at the hand Crosby was dealt. And I’m not saying he was anywhere near good enough. Do I think he will keep us up? It’s the wrong question to ask and an unfair one. Do I think David Flitcroft will take us down? Yes I do. The buck stops with him and the mess he’s made. In all of my years going from the 80s, to not go into a season and a half with at least two goalscoring strikers is absolutely criminal. I don’t like arguing with my fellow vale fans but Christ almighty, it’s there for all to see. Blind faith and getting behind the lads isn’t going to get us out of this mess! We are beyond saving. Bar an absolute miracle. That’s my head talking. You’re going with your heart and that’s a bad disappointment to have to deal with.

Are you thick? Read what I’ve put. You can put Pep in charge of this shower and he wouldn’t keep us up. Wake up.

I said it after Saturday that yes he’s looks arsed but probably be better going do the 1500 metres. Hes never anywhere near the football. He can’t make it stick. He can’t beat a man. He never has a shot on goal. And all for over 3k a week. We have two striker places in a matchday side at most. Why fill one with him? Because he runs? Good lord.

A week ago, fans were living in blind hope he’d be able to get a tune. They still knew the problems. None of this lies at Darren Moores door. It lies at the door of the DOF.

To be fair mate you need to pipe the <ovf censored> down. Because I’ve seen enough on this site over almost 20 years, to know that if you are an employee of the club, (which is what’s being said) you’ll get found out and hounded out. So shush the <ovf censored> up. Take the advice.

At this point either stick a centre back up top (ala Peter Swan back in the day) or the DOF pulls his finger out and gets in a free agent.

He was crap. He’s there as a striker on 3k a week plus. I can run still at 43. Doesn’t mean I should be a Port Vale number 9. His miss from the Chislett cross was unforgivable. If you want someone who can run I’d suggest go to Northwood stadium. Come on. It’s not hard to see he’s absolutely utter garbage, robbing a living and isn’t the answer to get us goals with 15 games to go.

The problem is that the manager at that time had accumulated 96 points with a quality outfit. We have a dog <ovf censored> squad. Full of kids or utter guff. None who are good enough, apart from the odd 2 or 3. We have just accumulated 2 points from our last 8 games and 12 points from our last 15. Dont have a go for mocking your post. They are using their head and have their eyes wide open. We can’t defend. We don’t make the opposition keeper make a save, never mind score! We’ve still got to go to Peterborough and Derby and you’re knocking the fans for disagreeing with you? Good lord. Youre living in cuckoo land on blind faith. The majority of us can see it for what it is. Don’t start crying for Flitcroft to go at the end of the season when we’re down. Blind faith. And “getting behind the lads” ain’t gonna wash and it certainly isn’t gonna save us. We are garbage and the owner has screwed it up with her blind faith in a DOF whose position has been untenable for almost a year.

Player wise tonight. Tom Sang. Jason Lowe. Ryan Loft. All take a long look at yourself in the mirror. And ask yourself, are you a professional footballer. Loft is awful. Just keep him off the park. He isn’t going to get us any goals to keep us up so as a supposed striker we are carrying him. Lowe is garbage as a midfielder. Just go to Moore and say “gaffer my legs have gone. Sang ain’t much better. Stick him at right back. He’s crap. Stick him at wing back. He’s crap. Nowhere else to go for him. He’s just crap. May as well put Lowe at right back going forward. He’s the best of a bad bunch. Garrity up top. And then put Mr Blobby in the middle of the park if he’s still about, over Lowe. Honestly. I mean….. What an absolute <ovf censored> mess Carol has got us in!!

If ever we needed proof that Flitcroft has sold us down the river then that game was it. 60 minutes in. Didn’t look so bad. Then Chislett puts one on a plate for that donkey up front and he couldn’t connect when it was harder to miss the ball. From then on we got battered. Mighten and Chislett who were causing problems come off for Garrity and Massey and then I didn’t understand our formation. Grant came on and robbed a living again. And in the blink of an eye we are two down and the game is over. It’s just all very predictable. Their goalkeeper hasn’t had a save to make again. Strikers win you football matches. In my 43 years of going, the only thing that comes close to this <ovf censored> recruitment is the Norman era of all those crap foreign lads. At least we knew it was a gamble and an experiment. This is just downright ineptness on David Flitcroft. And Carol needs to pull her finger out fast. Moore can’t be free of any criticism tonight though. Those subs were horrific. 3 out of the next 4 at home and 9 points needed. I think we’ve won 3 in 26 is it? Safe to say we’re down through sheer ineptness by Carol Shanahan and her love fest with David Flitcroft. Bring a mate to the next game????? I wouldn’t wish it on anyone. Dog <ovf censored>.

I’ll send this message to Carol now. If you want to keep David Flitcroft at the club because you THINK he’s making you money, then keep him the hell away from ANYTHING to do with the football side and DO NOT under ANY circumstances, give him another transfer window. He is single handedly destroying this football club. And by the way, if the rumours are true and we are paying Ryan Loft around 3k a week, then take it out of Flitcrofts pay, because to chase such a woeful footballer is beyond a disgrace. Open your <ovf censored> eyes fast Carol!!

I can’t believe what I’m watching. Decisions by the manager tonight and ultimately, we all know, the DOF has hung us out to dry.

Ripley apart, every single one of those players walk into this side now. Oh the memories.

What I want to see tonight is us going to a back 4. I want us stop tappying it about for 8 minutes then launching in to Lofts head. He needs to play on the shoulder and get in behind. I don’t want to see Dipepa thrown into the lions den again. I don’t want Jason Lowe anywhere near the middle of the park. I want to see Ojo care and take the game by the scruff. And if Nathan Smith plays then tell him before hand to just do the basics because Franco Baresi he is not. But most of all. Win lose or draw. I want every single one of them to leave everything out on the pitch and show the fans they are up for the fight because if they come out with the same shower of a showing that they did on Saturday, it will be a lot more than 3-0.

Errr, well, obviously Mark! One was on Sky. One was on boxnation! I wonder why sky didn't give it as much press?! Deary me.
