We did need the ground doing up. When players rock up and see the ground it might make or break the decision to sign.

Bill Bratt and his V2001 crewe, didn't really deliver on their 10 point plan.

When you look at Moore's record, he is a decent manager. That's all you can go on. What he'll do at Vale? Who knows. I'm looking forward to what he does this season coming. -

We can compare, Clarke, Crosby and Moore all we like, but they can only work with the tools they have. Our tools are useless. -
Should've been one price, like Huddersfield have. I'm no businessman, though.

What?! Vale were already in good position when Crosby took caretaker. Moore took over a team who were almost one down before the game started. You can't compare. -

But he had a better squad. Vale were on a roll in league 2. Near the top. -

Darren Moore only 'failed' with inherited squads with out a pre season. I'm looking forward to what he can do. -

Yeas. I know now. But their 'bad run' wasn't that bad. West Brom got itchy feet and sacked him. -

They were 4th for virtually the whole season. It didn't look like a long run of poor form either. -

Right. So if Vale have a top 6 budget, all will be fine. -
Fantastic. That has cheered me up. [emoji106]

Mmmm..if you haven't got the players to deal with it, you can't do anything. Our players were weak as pish. All season.

And the 'failures' he had were when he inherited really poor teams. -

The point is the teams he managed were doing well.
