Regarding Williams maybe an underlying medical problem refers to something like mental health, gambling, alcohol, drugs problems etc. Saying it in the way we have doesn't jeopardize his future career if he manages to sort it out. I have no idea that this is the case but these sort of things could cause major issues with regards to playing but not get picked up in a medical. I would say you are going to be less likely to sign someone with a minor issue that has a low percentage of flaring up if you are signing a player for a fee with a 2 and a half year contract than if you are signing someone on a free with an 8 month contract.

I think I would prefer us to sign a couple of wing backs over centre midfielders. We currently have Grant and Sang regularly playing wing back when they are central midfielders. Whilst it would be nice to have an upgrade in the middle I would much prefer to have a wing back that can run past a man.

In recent games I have often looked at the bench and not fancied any of the options available to change the game in our favour. Even if we had someone who was awful but fast it would make Crosby's job a bit easier.

All I want is a bit of pace. It is so much harder to cope when teams are putting you under pressure if you don't have someone who can push the opposition defence back, carry the ball and get up quickly to support the striker. The few players we have with any pace have all got knocks probably because they are so few and far between in our squad.
