Yes it was very good. Charlton review was good too. Although in hindsight a bit kind on the officials who missed two blatant red cards (for fouls on Mr Smith himself). And hinting Smithy goes down a bit too easily was a bit off. Sure the reason the ref didn't take more action after the forearm smash was because Smithy just picked himself up and got on with it.

Johnny hates Smithy, fair enough. But would be nice to get the facts straight before slagging someone off. It's his living mate. Not a vintage Smithy but still best of our defenders.
The podcast has become a bit strange. Ranting at certain players, giving others a free pass. Very odd. Anyway they banned me.

He's calling his bluff at this time. AJ is a busted flush, sorry to say, as I like the guy sort of. THE fight is now Fury Usyk. This would just be a warm up, big pay day fight. Usyk has already said he won't be fighting for some time.

I thought Josh started a bit slow, but on the other hand if he'd gone out all guns blazing he'd probably have gassed. What his corner were doing telling he won the first four is anyone's guess. End of the day I was just very impressed with Usyk. Took a punch, was moving as well in the 12th as the first. He's a dull fighter for sure, but the better man won. Not sure there was much Josh could do really.
Let's hope we get Fury - Usyk. Would be very interesting, think Fury would have too much for him.

Thought Malv got a bit unlucky, the ball came off his foot and hit his arm. But his arms were up so in this day and age a free kick. But it was way outside the box surely?
Anyway who cares. Great pod. Not a day for player ratings really, everyone was a 10. Who was 11 is the question. I'd go Smithy but you could name half a dozen others.

Good show folks. Credit to Johnny for going off piste. Don't agree, but so what. Not a nuts choice. And 10/10 for Santa, just when the cringeworthy cliche "pockets of space" was about to raise its ugly head he gave us the plain English "bits of space". A breath of fresh air.

Yeah, them were the days. These days I get them because #1 son has a SA mate who has SA TV. Brook and Khan was a bit silly. Both past it, Khan's heart was less in it. Time for both to call it a day for me.
I'm not interested enough to do PPV. Particularly as you say, all about promoters these days. And big fights are so few and far between.
A shame really because I've followed it for so long.

Thanks for your efforts Stu. Why are you off? Did I miss something? Worrall spent so much time diving that was the reason he didn't get the penno when it was one. Think the ref and liner were fed up with him. Nothing against the bloke, one of our best players. Often isolated and trying to buy a free kick was his only option.

It a hard thing to change your mind based on what is in front of you. And not one football fans tend to do often. So chapeau to you. I'm not convinced he's top quality, but he is relatively new to league football given his age. So can improve. And putting in a shift for the team under the circumstances. So fair play to him.
And for a scouser seems a nice bloke.

I thought that was one of Gibbo's worst performances for a long while. But he was one of the better ones, tells you something. Who else deserves above a 0? Cov, Smithy, Garrity and Amoo at a push. And maybe, just maybe, Rodders is worth a 1. At least we looked better (not hard) with him up top.
