  1. I think the biggest problem is Cheltenham have a far easier run in than us. And a game in hand. Cambridge although 6 points ahead of us could drop points then it would be be down to us to beat them by something like 3 goals on the last day. We don't score goals. Burton are poor and I think will go down.
Can't see us doing it. I hope so much to be proved wrong though.

  2. Just a pity that Cambridge, Shrewsbury, Cheltenham,  Reading & Burton all picked up useful points this afternoon!
Which just makes this win so much more important to keep pace. Must admit though some of those results were a bit strange today. But should give us encouragement to go to these places and have a go.
On another point. Flitcroft goes and all of a sudden team performances improve out of sight. Any link I don't know. Makes you think though

  3. Yes please got to be better than this sh!t show to see a tackle would be lovely and to see someone run well that would be spoiling us and as for a productive hoof into an opposition box to fight for a loose ball an maybe create a shot on target would be great and an improvement on this ultra entertaining p!ssing around with it in our own half waiting for the inevitable mistake to gift the opposition a goal then creating the massive no shots on target that's none a big fat zip zilch zero shots on target then I'm in ring Mr ainsworth now
You can also add to that, a manager who has consistently proved himself to be successful at this level, whilst working on a relatively small budget. People say his football is boring. Well every time I've watched them played Vale, I've found his football fast and attacking. True not pretty but a damn site more entertaining than what we have suffered for the last two seasons.
The fact that he is an ex player is irrelevant. He is what we need for this level of football.

  4. And this is the problem, IF and yes that a very big IF we managed to stay up DF is going nowhere and I wouldn't trust him to get this squad to anything like acceptable. May be better in the long term to go down but still not convinced  Carol would sack him anyway so we're screwed regardless.
I agree, if we stay up Carol will give Flitcroft credit for the appointment of Moore. Therefore, guaranteeing the continuation of Flitcroft. If we do go down Flitcroft will probably stay, but there is a slim chance he would go. So we are pretty stuffed either way.

Although I think it unlikely, if Moore kept us up, I would hope it would give him enough leverage to tell Carol to keep Flitcroft totally away from recruitment.

    Well can but dream.
