  1. while i dont take pleasure in anyone losing their job. this has to be a positive move by the club and its owner. one thing that has never been answered during this last 18 months is why was the recruitment so awful? was it because the money wasnt there in the first place? the whole championship ready thing was setup for a huge fall without championship funds ( and we all know what sort of money it takes to do that ). if we dont have the funds to push for the championship either it shouldnt have been said or just come clean with the fanbase that without added investment we will never afford a 20 goal striker in this league?? . i just cant believe for the life of mw that a player wouldnt come to any club for location or family reasons as crosby then flitcroft stated in interviews on radio.. so who is lying?

By their own admission they overspent in the early years , and they are simply cutting back to balance the books .

theyve cut back too far and are paying the price not only now but next season and for the next few seasons - alot of fans have had enough of being taken for granted - they also think it will be easy to get promotion again next season - we all know its not that simple.

As a 42 year old I’d say We’ve had some pretty bad teams in league one and league two and somehow managed to stay up but for in terms of quality lacking all over the pitch and this situation was completely avoidable then I think this is probably the worst for me. We lack fight, strength, pace and most importantly ability. If it wasn’t for watching Ollie and Alfie for some part of the season and a bit of joy to watch two players like that then I’d probably say I haven’t enjoyed many games at all this season. It’s been a complete waste.

its the worst team ive seen since 1987. and ive seen some dross.

No I'm not but in a lot of them defeats we deserved better

Under Moore we have deserved lose every game so far

Crosby at least got a tune out of them to get us to quarter finals of league cup snd in some games we were damn good.

Where's the tune out of Moore

    There's no tune.

    Silence tiesto

we deserved everything we got in those games under crosby. after the barnsley debacle we had an unbelievably lucky run of sendings off and penalties . then when that dried up we were watching the real vale. as for the cup run that was another fluke as we played the lowest ranked side in every round and only just scraped a win at mansfield. the boro game was an absolute disaster and then soon as we lost arblaster and devine the team fell apart. crosby was and is no manager and we now have to get behind DM who is PROVEN at this level. if we are struggling its not because of him its down to the pi55 poor recruitment over the last 4 transfer windows and that is solely down to fraudcroft.

Carol…. We had lots of candidates for the job but didn’t interview anyone. We knew Crosby was the one and he deserves his chance…………

    Bloke lasts 6 months.

Also Carol…… We didn’t go hunting for anyone else. We had Darren on the phone for 3 hours. He was our only pick………….

    Bloke can’t buy a win.

Also Carol…… How dare the supporters question my Dave. I gave him objectives of which one was to have a cup run. And by the way the academy is solely because of him. He’s a wonderful man so all of you shut up.

    Womans lost the plot.

Vale fans…………. We are off to league two. Your mistakes have been catastrophic. Your DOFs position it totally untenable. We have a team full of crap. And children on the football pitch who should be nowhere near league football.

    What an absolute mess.

weve had our disagreements in the past dear spunkers. but im absolutely 100% behind you on this one. Flitcroft simply has to go. the damage has already been done though.

Moore is even more painful than Crosby was after games, to listen to. Huddersfield fans did warn us and now I'm really believing them. It's not on him when we got down, but my God, he comes across as dull and uninspiring.

you cant judge a manager after 4 games least of all one who has been dealt such a crap hand and no transfer window. hes just another fall guy to protect " flicker " . sooner that fraud is cut loose the better.

I’ll send this message to Carol now.

If you want to keep David Flitcroft at the club because you THINK he’s making you money, then keep him the hell away from ANYTHING to do with the football side and DO NOT under ANY circumstances, give him another transfer window.

He is single handedly destroying this football club. And by the way, if the rumours are true and we are paying Ryan Loft around 3k a week, then take it out of Flitcrofts pay, because to chase such a woeful footballer is beyond a disgrace.

Open your <ovf censored> eyes fast Carol!!

Loft is easily the worst player ive seen at the club since 1987. and ive seen some absolute pants up at VP.

If you’re in a relationship and every single family member tells you it’s toxic and every single friend tells you it’s toxic, when you’re being gaslighted you will put up your defences and defend your partner.

This is exactly what is happening here.

The only thing we have to do is give her time in waking up. Sadly I can’t see it anytime soon so the pressure has to be kept on.

The fans need to keep voicing their opinion on David Flitcroft and hound him out of this football club.

you are absolutely 100% spot on. and ive seen some dross over the last 40 years. mostly inthe last 10-15 but this is easily the worst squad of players weve had over that period. the blinkers are on and i see nothing to suggest we wont be playing in the basement league next season. absolutely nothing. bring back bruno and michael brown as assistant manager !

  10. this is the worst vale side ive seen easily in over a decade. the transfer windows in the last 2 years were a mess. and were sleepwalking back into league 2. not even guardiola could rescue this shambles. im at that point now where im not even bothered about going on tuesday . carol can shove her letter. championship ready? more like league 2 steady ( just about ) oh and FLITCROFT OUT.

And to think many on here and other social media platforms, were angrily calling for him to be sacked.  Fickle game innit

my views havent changed. flitcroft leaves a LOT to be desired. especially since hes making all the signings ( most of which are young future prospects on loan) and not actually players we can sign on long term deals. then theres the issue of 3-5-2 all the time on a pitch as big as wembleys. and then theres the insistence on keeping a manager whos win ratio is appalling. want me to go on ?

I don't think beating nine man Oxford with a penalty, Carlisle with a penalty, and lowly Reading with a deflection is catching teams off guard.

We have been atrocious all season. That blind ball bag should have gone at the end of October and that is being very generous. People were wondering why tickets weren't selling......well tonight is why. People wondering why it wasn't on TV, I wouldn't make my worst enemy watch that bilge.

this is absolutely SPOT ON. he shouldve gone after lincoln and thats a fact . unfortunately with flitcroft in place this is going to keep happening again and again. its what happens when a football clubs owner knows little about football. you have to rely on others and flickers is simply not up to it or he wouldnt have been ousted at bury all those years ago.

  13. well that was a cracker of a game even for a neutral it had everything. think AC has earned himself a temporary reprieve after that. the first half was as good as ive seen vale play since 1987 and weve had some big nights at VP. completely dominated them. im a few more percent hopeful on tuesday that we wont get a mauling now. Cheers for that,  cheered me up.

Here's me thinking that watching the bore that is Port Vale is pure purgatory and listening to the same old drivel spouted by the manager is utter nonsense. Also the worst ever FA cup attendance in 147 years of existence.

Must be going daft in my old age. Glad everything is rosy .

just goes to show. regardless of what we all think on here ( happy clappers included ) that the general fee paying public will not turn up if the football is pants. and it has been for close to 3 months. you can literally predict what is going to happen every game now and if we can so can everyone else ( including the opposition ). the fact is too much is being put on anything BUT the product on the pitch and its now showing in the attendances. the honeymoon period is well and truly over.

After 55 minutes last night, I turned to my pal and asked "how are we towards the bottom of the league?". Then the Crosby affect kicked in. Sack him. Sack him now.

you know its not just crosby. flitcroft should take a LOT of the blame. after all he makes the signings doesnt he?  i hate being proved right. the pair of them shouldve gone a month ago. stealing a wage . but weve been down the cheap option road so many times and not once has it worked out.

I don't get why we can't attract a decent manager with pedigree.  I admit if you go for a manager out of a job, the likelihood is that he will have failed in one job or had a bad recent run.  I look back to 2010 when Micky Adams was appointed, he had always been at Championship or top of league 1 and we got him take over after nearly dropping out of the football league.  There are managers out there who will think I need to drop down to get another shot at Championship level.

it all boils down to money. its quite clear we dont have any - the interviews regarding wage structure etc are just waffle

  17. judging by the posts on here and social media in general id say crosby has well and truly lost the fans. sure hes a nice bloke and BOY did i want him to succeed. but its the same old story. inexperience is showing. that said. make no mistake we are in trouble and it will take a MASSIVE january to sort this mess out. we cannot have the current management set up in place for that. or we can say hello to League 2.
