Without question 2023 has been a difficult watch for our fans! After Wembley we have had very few decent performances! Some of the abject performances have really knocked the stuffing out of a lot of fans. We have a decent team now and some half decent prospects but we a still hampered by long term injuries. I don’t for one minute think we are consistently getting the best out of our team! We really do need to step up on a more consistent basis and give the fans some hope. Loosing consistently at home is not going to endear fans or encourage them to attend . We must do better.

I do not expect us to do much business in January! Lucky if we get the odd loan but I doubt there will be much else. Those expecting a busy window are going to be very disappointed. Anyway happy with a point to day a bit of good luck for once.

I suppose that’s it really if we can play every game like we did yesterday then we will do very well. We need to find a greater level of consistency especially at home it gives everyone a lift . When the players are giving there all fans respond to that creates a better atmosphere. We are due a home win on a Tuesday night! Let’s hope its next week.

Win loose or draw if the players give 100% then Vale fans are happy . Stroll about not trying then they are really going to get some stick. Anyway great three points made the weekend at last.

Absolutely delighted we have won this as I was not expecting anything. But boy do we make hard for ourselves.

Doom and gloom for me! Really expected us to be much better this season. Very disappointed with a number of games when we just have not turned up. Struggling to find the motivation to attend even though I have a season ticket. Absolutely furious over Stevenage.

Tommy Witherington seems to be doing very well at Aldershot.! Maybe a bit soon for him but there are some decent managers around. AC may be a good coach but he is no manager, been out thought on too many occasions for me.

I can’t see there being a decent crowd at all ! Plus if we get anything from this game I will definitely be astounded, happy but astounded.

Dont get me wrong I know they are sports men super fit etc, but when you are talking 10 to 12 weeks for an injury makes me think! The doctor signed me off after 12 weeks for a hip replacement , bearing in mind I use ladders and do a fair amount of walking fr my job.

Well Saturday is going to tell us a lot! Attendance then performance! It’s a tough game but we cannot keep loosing at home and conceding goals for fun. Difficult times ahead me thinks .

Last nights attendance tells all ! I think Saturdays will also be very disappointing ,fans are voting with their feet. The club is being set back years action is needed and quick. AC is not a manager totally clueless re tactics and game management.

Some of the dreadful home performances have really knocked the stuffing and enthusiasm out of a lot of people. It's not just the loosing it's the seeming lack of effort and stupid mistakes. We really need to be on the front foot from the off and show much more intent.

There is no way we will get anything at Exeter . So where will we go from there I wonder.

It is unfortunately a results business, I accept we have played some decent football, but we have also put in some very poor below par efforts especially at home. There are a number of things that need addressing and quick or we are going to be sucked in to a relegation battle.
