Crikey I have seen some ups and downs over sixty odd years. What upsets me the most is the lack of effort in some games. Not sure if I will renew.

The biggest problem we have it's a Tuesday night! Not won a midweek game in a very long while! Why? it does put serious questions about our fitness. Also we conceed a lot of late goals, mind you we conceded a lot anyway. Absolutely no steel in the side whatsoever nor has there been for sometime.

Just hope the lads give our fantastic traveling Valiant something to cheer on the long journey home . Come on you whites ! Really hoping for something from this game. Just to set us up. Eleven of our players on 7 out of 10 and we should be ok .

Just a side note Oldham had 8700 crowd today ! They most likely not even make the national league playoffs.

Kind of get the impression we are giving up! Just testing who may be worth keeping for next season. Just praying someone can put in a match winning performance. Anything from this game would be a bonus. Got a feeling come 5 our fate will be almost sealed.

This game is certainly winnable but make no mistake they are no mugs! They have turned us over quite a few times. Just hope we can edge it.

One of my worries now DF has gone is who are the fans now going to target! With this group of players I can't see us improving in anyway.

No matter how much positive spin you put on things the last 18 months have been dire! Yes we will get the dedicated 3k crowd but it is going to be very difficult to get much of the extra 3k to renew there season tickets. This season has really set the club back to square one. After January 23 you would have thought lessons would have been learnt! To make the same stupid and predictable mistake again beggars belief?

Sorry but my apathy came to a head a few weeks ago! Just can't bear watching the total rubbish on offer. Renew my season ticket sorry no just can't suffer anymore.

We need some character and steel in the team. A lot of relegated teams struggle! We need to get rid of the loosing mentality and quick. I do think we will struggle to get back up.

All I can say it’s a good point and at least the players gave their all! We have never been league one ready since we came up, the odd game we have done well but overall we have been generally poor. I would like us to stay up but I think it’s too little too late. It’s a shame really because we will loose many of the extra fans we gained.

Whist on the topic of paying strikers it’s surprising Harrison is a bit part player at MK dons ! Suppose it show how far off we are when it comes to paying the going rate!

Well there’s one thing for sure we never came to terms with league one! Defensively shocking conceding two and three goals a game ! Very overwhelmed at times and just watched the better teams play. Absolutely no steel or guts in the team we have just given up with a whimper. The reset is going to take sometime at best we could be in league two for a while. I am not at all confident we can get back up anytime soon. All the gains the club has made over the last few years lost! Back to three and four thousand crowds sadly.

Without doubt injuries are a massive problem! Forest Green walked the league when we came up! They were lucky they had a load of players on 40 plus appearances, however once injuries came into play and a few players left they dropped like a stone. We could very easily follow them if we are not careful. Some people think if we go down we will come straight back up! Not going to happen without some major changes in personnel and attitude.

Every game is a must win as have the last few games! Sadly we have fallen well short. Relegation is just around the corner. Those who think we will come straight back up are in for a shock I am afraid!

Yes after sixty odd years of supporting Vale it feels so much worse this time maybe after the euphoria of Wembley! I don’t know ! There are quite a lot of people who feel the same. I think we have thrown away lots of potential with the extra support we gained. Sadly I can only see us with half the support of the last couple of seasons. We do have a fantastic hard core but we desperately need the more fickle fans to swell the coffers! Nobody wants to see us loose game after game .

Almost certain I will not renew my corporate season ticket! I have had this for a number of years even through covid. Probably just have a standard season ticket. The football since Christmas 23 has sucked all the life and enthusiasm out of me. The team just seems so mentally weak! I don't see the comitment I would like from the players.
