Massey has had about 4 good games in 2/3 years i'd be getting rid of him myself. Don't get me wrong he looks a better player this year under crosby than he ever did under Clarke so fair play to all involved for that but he needs to be more consistent to win me over i'm afraid & can't see it
2/3 years, he's only been here 18 months 😂

I've not seen any evidence to the contrary. Has he been loaned out to another club , No.

People don't understand how dangerouse uche would be in this league once he's sorted out his shooting. We've all seen some of the rockets he's tried to put towards the net. A bit more practice and he's one of the best forwards in the league.
Practice! he's nearly 29. How much more time does he need. At this rate he will be a grandad before he can hit the target.😁

If we lose Uche and Wilson gets injured (both likely), plus the fact we have let Thomas go back, does that make us entirely reliable on Loft upfront?
How many points are we off relegation?
Thomas was recalled by Swansea, due to his injury issues which have developed into long term.

Losing Uche does mean we probably have to go back to the slower passing model rather than direct style as we have no hold up at the top,
I hadn't realised we'd signed Naomi Campbell 😁

Surely doing business as cheaply as possible is good business, assuming of course that the business done is not detrimental to the business?
Its none of our business 😉

Clarke-Harris didn't sign in the end, they couldnt agree wages.
Strange decision for me but if we do let him go and he goes Wycombe I will like to think we would have the sense not to allow it until next week and not repeat the Anthony Grant situation where he is playing against us days after leaving.
I would hope we have 2 forwards lined up and signed for definite before we let him go

He's got an attitude problem. Another one who thinks he's better than he is.
Definitely, if its true we had a bid turned down for him when he was at Morecombe, i think we escaped an expensive banana skin there.

Barrow have a better manager than us.
11 on 11 tomorrow, Barrow would beat us.
We should be in for the likes of Cole Stockton.
Our “philosophy” is well and good and will probably make money.
The academy products. Sold. And others will go. Money.Crosby. His style of play. Never ever ever will change. Tweeked but will always stay a constant. Like it or lump it.
Flitcroft. Earns money for Carol? He stays.
All I needed in my life today to know where the club is going is that Alfie Devine interview.
Its football manipulation.
Every question is thought out.
Every question will have been fed to Alfie.
Every question is now out there in social media to say to the suits at clubs higher than us that we are a good club.
You may as well have held Alfie down and said say what we want you to say.
I absolutely loved Alfie being here but if that’s the way football is going then it’s not for me.
Its so robotic it’s untrue.
I ask the older generation in here…. Is football fun anymore? Is there real passion? I don’t see it. I honestly don’t see it. All I see is a business. I see Port Vale Football Club as a business. A business where Carol Shanahan wants to make money. Nothing wrong with that. But she doesn’t care. She doesn’t. She cares about money. And she, like any other football club owner will put on a front saying that they care, virtue signaling her silly little scarf, when in reality they don’t! They care about making money.
And don’t get me wrong, I’d rather have her in charge of the club than Smurthwaite, as one wants to make money whereas the other just wanted to steal money but wouldn’t it be lovely to take the politics out of everything.
I don’t want my club to be “robotic”. That’s what we are and that’s what fans can’t see. A robotic club making money for the owners. I want my club to sign the best players and go and challenge up the leagues.
A lot of this season has been <ovf censored>. Let’s not dress that up. But on the field, when Stockport and Wrexham come up next season, maybe Notts County, that’s more clubs surpassing us on the pitch.Because when Carlisle, Fleetwood, Reading go down, that’s a lot harder to get points off than the latter mentioned.
The virtue signaling in this club might be ok for a long term plan but the hardcore supporter will just leave whilst the <ovf censored> on the pitch continues. Apart from cracks papered over this last month.
January 18th. Still no striker. Lost our two best players which weren’t ours in the first place. It’s all a bit of a philosophical mess!
Barrow have better players than us REALLY.Their team is full of Vale rejects. We have beaten 2 of the better teams in L2 this season.Wrexham only best us in a dead rubber when we put all our kids on.
As for your remarks about Carol only wanting to make money for herself and not caring well it's just laughable.
She cared enough to pay greatly over the odds to rescue is from the previous despot who threatened to send us into oblivion. She has since ploughed millions into the club to improve all aspects of the club from the 1st team, the youth academy and the ground in general. So much for making money out of little old Port Vale hey. Have a Happy New Year though you sound like you need cheering uo.

Why would he come to us ? Better off at a side winning and going for promotion.
Sent from my SM-A217F using onevalefan mobile app
1. He isn't at a side going for promotion if he has been recalled.
2. He was at a club we have beaten twice this season.
3. He would be playing in a higher league.

The other big question is:
What is Devine Intervention going to change his username to now Alfie has gone. Come on Phil don't keep us in suspense😉

Nice interview with Alfie by the way. Hopefully he and Ollie have expressed how much they have enjoyed their time here to other players at their clubs and to young players in the England camps.

A lot cheaper than buying a player and committing to their wages for 2 years or so, yes.
It depends, some of these young premiership players are on much more than most league 1 players are on. It would depend how much of their salary you have to contribute. The other side of the coin is that you pay a fee for someone such as Loft on 3K ( reputably } per week and you are stuck with him for two years,

What a load of <ovf censored> we’re just been used
If course that's the idea. They use us to get him experience in the football league. We get the benefit of a talented young player for a while..Not unexpected and certainly not unique.

Chesterfield have got a record this season of getting mis firing strikers scoring again. Will Grigg and the best example is they have got 7 goals out of Joe Quigley.
Hopefully, they need some cover & "experience" in the forward line to make sure they get over the line with promotion this season.
Will Griggs is reportedly on £5k a week, so, I'm sure they can afford Loft
That could be a reason why they can't . They maybe already stretching their budget.

Teams like Chesterfield, Oldham would easily match is his wages or their could be a deal done where we contribute towards his wages in a loan spell until the end of the season
Possibly, although they don't receive a lot of the payments that football league clubs do to boost their budgets. The question is, would they want a non scoring forward who would take up a large salary?
