Port Vale striker Baylee Dipepa made it four goals in three appearances for the England U17 side as he scored in a 4-0 opening win over France U17 in the European Championships.
Dipepa was named in the starting line-up and he netted from close-range on 34 minutes to put England 2-0 up. Dipepa was substituted on 73 minutes as the match ended in a comprehensive 4-0 win for the English side.
The Port Vale starlet should start England’s next game – which takes place on Friday against Portugal.
Striker Dipepa, who broke through to the Port Vale first-team last season, was capped by England U17 earlier this year and has been linked with a possible move to Premier League side Manchester United. After a breakthrough season, he is now regarded as one of the club’s hottest prospects.
The Blythe Bridge born teenager has been with the Vale junior sides since nine years of age and signed his first professional contract with the club last season. He also netted two League One goals in the closing stages of the campaign.
