I suppose this attention is to be expected but it would be a shame for him to move to a bigger club and just to be part of the background and not play .He is valued at the club and is being brought along at just the right pace as he is 17 . All thoughts of fame and fortune will eventually happen but experience at this level will do him the world of good . Nothing can happen till the season ends and I hope he will sit down with his parents and manager to consider his future and achieve his goal of keeping us in league 1 . It has been a pleasure to watch him develop into the player that he is . Being a Vale supporter we have seen these situations before and it is always the way of things that a cheque book appears and stars depart . Good luck son .

Let Baylee develope at Vale Park. Too many go to bigger clubs and just disappear and end up on the scrapheap. Do the right thing Carol and tie Baylee on a good contract and we see himand other youngsters from the academy take us further.

Hope we can keep him but… let’s be honest, any youngster would love to be signed by Man Utd. Only problem would be is, will he be playing first team football? Or just be another name on what is obviously a huge list
No doubt furst teamwould be promised to get his signature. As good as he is, is he ready for that level of football.
    But money talks.

No need for supporters to panic over this inevitable speculation. He’s under contract until June 2026. But, if there’s genuine EPL interest and the Vale want a massive cash injection for the next transfer window, Dipepa could be sold with an immediate loan back for next season. That’s an enticing option.

The young man is doing well, but talking about him as if he’s some sort of super star is going over the top and does nothing to help him stay level headed. The lad has started just a couple of games that’s all and if anyone had scored his goal against us, everyone would be screaming why have 5 defenders just stood there and not tackled him. The fossils out there will tell you about how good the 66/67youth team were yet very few managed to make a career out of the game. I also remember a lad named David Hibbert scoring an amazing goal on his debut but he never progressed above the lower leagues. Just give the lad time. He needs to be encouraged but just as importantly he needs his feet kept firmly on the ground.

i am pleased that Port Vale have a talented young player in their team and it looks as if he is already making an impact. Look after him and ensure that he has the support and guidance to develop. NTFC had a fantastic young player called Ivon Toney who was sold to Newcastle who did not look after him and he was put out on loan to several clubs and then sold to Peterborough and then sold to Brentford. At 24 feeling lost and uncertain of his future he took to gambling. So Port Vale look after your talent and despite Ivon Toney becoming a great player, his fame came with a unhappy journey.
