Port Vale Rumour: West Ham interested in Baylee Dipepa
A report in the Evening Standard newspaper claims that Premier League side West Ham are interested in Port Vale’s teenage striker Baylee Dipepa.
Teenager Dipepa has had a whirlwind rise to fame. Unknown at the start of the season, he scored three times on England U17 duty and scored a brilliant second senior goal in Vale’s 2-0 win over Bristol Rovers. The teenager is currently on England U17 duty and scored in the Euro Championship fixture against France earlier this week.
According to the Standard “West Ham are one of a number of clubs” to be chasing Dipepa. Earlier this year, Manchester United were linked with the forward.

12 Jan 2007: He is born in Blythe Bridge.
2015: Dipepa joins the club at under-nine level.
5th Sept 2023: the striker makes his first-team debut as a sub in a Football League Trophy game against Crewe
9th December 2023: Dipepa becomes the second-youngest Port Vale League player, coming on as a sub against Exeter City
January 2024: He signs a professional contract until 2026.
27th February 2024: the striker makes his first League start in a game against Fleetwood Town
10th March 2024: he scores against Shrewsbury Town to become the second-youngest goalscorer in Vale’s history.
19th March 2024: Dipepa is called up to the England U17 squad
21st March 2024: He scores twice on his England U17 debut after coming on as a sub.
23rd March 2024: He makes his full debut for England U17 and scores in a win over Hungary.
29th March 2024: Dipepa scores a brilliant second League goal for Port Vale in a 2-0 win over Bristol Rovers
21st May 2024: Dipepa scores again in an England shirt as he nets in an U17 fixture against France.

I think its a great advert for what we are able to produce at our academy and all those involved deserve a big pat on the back which ever premiership club sign him I hope they then loan him back do we get to enjoy his talent all credit to him as well the downside is that we will always have to sell our future stars but it is what it is
