Rumour – Port Vale linked to Bristol Rovers striker
A Bristol media website claims in an “exclusive” that Port Vale are in talks to sign Bristol Rovers striker Ryan Loft.
Bristol Rovers are understood to be in talks with Port Vale regarding a permanent transfer for Ryan Loft with the striker now in the final year of his contract. It is also believed that Loft is subject to strong interest from at least one other League One club ahead of Friday’s transfer window deadline.
The Valiants are believed to be looking to add to their forward line especially with Ellis Harrison linked to a possible exit from the club.
25 year-old Loft began his career at Spurs before spells with Scunthorpe United, Leicester City and Bristol Rovers. He has scored against Vale for both Scunthorpe and Bristol Rovers.
