Youth side to visit from NZ.....And Vale maybe.

I have just spoke to Steve Whalley who emigrated a few years back to New Zealand who worked at the Vale and is a massive fan......He is very involved in Youth football and through massive fundraising he and his youth workers have managed after a few years to save enough to bring a team of 16/17yr olds to the UK in April (next month).

 

They have games and visits to various places and Grounds. etc.

 

He is desperate to bring them to Vale Park for a visit on the 4th April if possible for a tour of the Ground and our training facilities etc, and maybe to watch the Vale train if possible (Non-matchday).

 

Due to the unrest that has/is surrounding the Club at the moment he has not had a reply for this special request.......I am awaiting a phone call from Martin Tideswell as he may know who can arrange a visit within the Club at the moment. If anyone else on here can help he would really appreciate your efforts, i think this is a time to build new relationships and show people like these Kiwi kids we are still a Great little Club.

Thanks Jim/Conrad anything that could be done on this would be great .Would mean the world to these students they are made keen footy fans who get up every sunday at 4am to watch the EPL without fail.
