FORMER Port Vale defender Daniel Jones is interesting League One newboys Chesterfield. The 27 year old had his contract terminated by the Valiants in April following a training ground incident with skipper Doug Loft which left Loft out for the rest of the season with facial injuries. Chesterfield boss Paul Cook told Peak FM that Jones is on his radar as a potential new addition.The Spireites will play Vale in League One next season after going up as League Two champions.
