John Rudge would have lasted 18 months with Flitcroft the clown at the club.

We should be told in the next couple of weeks the price for next season.
Surely with basement league football on offer we should see at least a freeze in prices if not a slight reduction.
It will be interesting to see whether the hospitality boxes sell out like this season, and I would imagine sales overall will fall by 1500.
Flitcroft Out.

Went for my annual post match drink in Market Drayton with my Salopian mate, somebody who has supported Shrewsbury for as long as I have the Vale and he said it was the worst Vale side he had seen since the late 70s.

I would like to ask the 32% their reasons for thinking we would not be involved in a relegation fight !

With Flitcroft still pulling the strings let's just stay above the bottom 2.

FLITCROFT OUT !
How loud do we have to shout Carol?
2000 people not attending next season at £20 each do the maths !!!
SACK HIM FOR INCOMPETENCE.

Have to win just like Cambridge did last season when they visited us.
They won 2-0 and suddenly found confidence to escape the drop.
Not only will a win give us a chance to stop up it puts Shrewsbury right in the mix.
Cannot rely on the two games in hand as one is Posh away so we probably only have the one against Wycombe. WE HAVE TO WIN TODAY.
Flitcroft Out.

League 1 ground guide says the away terrace holds 1470 so looks like a typo.

Carol has said Flitcroft is doing a good job but some of his signings like Loft, Jones and Massey just don’t reflect that and the Bristol rovers fans couldn’t believe we signed him and he has a contract until the end of 2025 and who would buy him because he is awful; we have to get rid of Jones but he is one of the worst left backs I have ever seen at the club and I doubt we will see Ikpaezo again and thank goodness Massey’s contract finishes in May and I expect Wilson to move on but I don’t trust flitcroft to sign any quality as his record shows
I genuinely don't have a problem with Massey as a squad player in fact the games we have played well in this season he has performed and made a difference. Doesn't have much time off injured and I think he tries his best.

Shrewsbury Town have kept 1 clean sheet in the last 16 games.
2-0 to the Vale tomorrow
My money is on 2 in 17 and a 0-0 draw.

Listened to Moores press conference.
He says the players have come to blows. In as many words anyway. As he says people had to step in and it shows they care. Now is that because they care or is that dressing room fractured?
Im looking at leaders and good characters and don’t see many. Conlon and Pett lifted that play off trophy. Now I see a half arsed Ojo and Smith. Garrity is the only real leader I see. Certainly on the pitch. So prove us wrong.Another thing I took from it was that he said they’ve taken a step back from what matters and that’s fight and passion. Now, I’ll say that this is because of the philosophy thrown upon these players by the DOF and Crosby.
I said it after Middlesbrough. It was pathetic. Pass, pass, pass, tippy tappy crap. We’ve done it all season. We don’t make a <ovf censored> tackle. So hopefully we’ll see some blood and thunder from now to the end of the season. His “war cry” to the fans was really good. I like how he’s trying to create a bond. I like the fact he acknowledges the superb support all season. All of that can only be a good thing.
And after all of that we get to the young lads.
And I’m just rolling my eyes.
It’s almost convincing the fans that they are world beaters and deserve to be there!!
It’s like a script from Carol and David!
Im sorry Darren but not one of them are good enough right now and shouldn’t be in this dog fight.
And therein lies the problem. Because some of them are keeping senior players out of the team. And make no mistake those senior players aren’t good enough either!
But. That being said. Fresh start on Saturday. He’s had a full week on the training pitch. So let’s see who is up for the fight and who isn’t.
A win gives us hope.
A draw will be deflating.
A defeat and you may as well turn off the lights. It really is last chance saloon.
A draw will be more than deflating. Unless we win the bookies will close the book on us !

If we don't win on Saturday I expect the last few home games of the season to be very very uncomfortable for our director of football. And so it should be !

I recall Accrington and Forest Green doing the same last season.
Now let me see how that's turned out?

We have been sleepwalking for 15 months so not surprised its quiet.
Biggest fear is unless somebody wakes us up in the next 6 months we will be following Forest Green into oblivion.

100% certain he already is.
I think we will win on Saturday and it will be a relegation by a thousand cuts probably relegated just before or at the Bolton game.
-
If we stay up we should start a fundraising for a statue of Mr Moore.
The miracle has to start on Saturday but I fear Salop will be in no mood to help with the staue collection.

Maybe it was always written in the stars that the team who lost their first game of the season 7-0 should be relegated.

So it appears we will now probably have to win 5 of our 6 remaining home games and nick a few points on the road !!! Good luck with that.
Bet 365 still being kind to us at 8/13 to go down, and have Fleetwood at 1/9.
As I said in the week if we don't beat Salop on Saturday close the book.

Those that stayed and clapped off the team yesterday did it to thank the players for turning up for the coach on time, getting themselves dressed and running on the pitch for the warm up. It cannot be for anything that happened once the match started !!
To a man the performance was shocking.

Just need to stay up which is unlikely with Flitcroft pulling the strings.
