    Devine started slowly but he's much better than average-poor.
    I think Alfie looks a completely different player in the deeper role and he's really changed my mind on him. I thought he was superb yesterday and the driving force that kept us going. I too was a bit underwhelmed with him when he first arrived as he drifted out of games playing just off a striker (maybe because we didn't have one)

    With our massive injury problems Alfie is vital to us now. We really need a minder type of physical player in midfield to look after him. Sang, Walters just not that kind of enforcer that we desperately need with Garrity out long term

    Gags 64 , crosby is the master of his own downfall , I don't feel sorry for him .
    Don't get me wrong I think he should go as he is not making the best use of the players available to him but the main problem though for anyone coming in is having the finances to build a squad capable of competing in League 1

    I do feel sorry for Crosby in some ways, we never seem to get long term injuries to our poorer players. Maybe he's trying to prove a point by pitching so many youngsters in. Our back up to the first team is woeful, mind you the first team isn't a great deal better. Money buys you quality in this division, unfortunately we don't pay the wages to tempt the quality player

    Carol has hung on to give Crosby this transfer window this is last chance saloon for him if we don’t attract better quality and start picking up it’s certainly over for him 
    Going be interesting few weeks
     
    We won't be spending any money in January so better quality is a non starter. A team full of teenagers, that's where we're heading

    Our squad is full of league 2 players and that's where we're heading. Take out the loan lads and really what have we got left, home grown promising youngsters who are not yet up to the standard needed in this division and nobody with any pace or skill. God help us if Ben Garrity ever picks up a long term injury. Can't remember the last time I came home from a game where it was enjoyable and exciting.

    I can see why we wanted to get someone like Gibbo back in to the fold as we need competition on both sides of the pitch at wing back and players that could play full back if needed too. My understanding is that it was almost done but we couldn’t shift someone out of the club to make it happen. In addition I think it was either Yates or Sproson that said he was close to coming back in when they commentated on whichever away game it was just after the window shut. Now it looks like he’s in and out of the squad at Bristol it wouldn’t surprise me if we possibly went back for him. So for all our criticism of the recruitment process it does seem like we at least tried to address the wing back / full back issue, but couldn’t get it sorted. I’ve said before that if we can get decent fullbacks and wingbacks in that will give us 30+ appearances a season, who will also add some strength and depth to the squad then that’s the way we should be going because this season and last season that position has not been sorted. 
    Wonder where we would be with peak Gibbo and Worrall playing down the right, not saying we should have them back now but we're worse in those positions at the moment

    I do like Andy Crosby and he speaks well but if he keeps persisting with these tactics when our players are not good enough to play this way then it's only going one way for him

    The problem for Andy comes from above and the calibre of striker we have been able to get. Pep would struggle to get goals with our attacking line up

    If we sell tickets quickly, I think the club will get more facilities sorted and then put a few more on sale in the paddock. Hope that's the case. It will look shocking on TV otherwise. 
    Got to be Health and Safety issues, can't believe it's just about the toilet block. It's the mystery behind it all that starts rumours. If it was just about the lack of toilets I'm sure season ticket holders would be stopped from sitting there every week
