Look @Spunk Trumpet I said we can do well in league 2 providing we build on our squad when we are down there. I also said when we came up we never build on our squad leading to our current position. In fact I think we have built back making the squad worse.

Ye we did have a mediocre L2 squad and only just made play offs. We didn't build on th squad and barely survived. We didn't build again and now we are vout to get relegated with our league 2 squad. We have a league 2 side? When did i say they were good. I used the words average and mediocre.

By run the club I mean academy, training pitches, plans to be financially stable etc. The owners have input but the dof definitely has input because it may effect the football side of things.

Once again every club in league 2 that is in the top 10 has a dof. Same with league 1. We had <ovf censored> dof get over it Good dofs exist too!!!!!

We do if we want to succeed. None of the clubs in league 2 that got promoted don't have a dof.

What don't you get? He can't run a club and manage at the same time. Not in this day and age anyway. Let the dof find players let the manager see if he wants them. While also letting the manager request the odd player. Dm can't scout and negotiate contracts for a new squad on his own. NOT EVERY DOF IS FLITCROFT

So you want Darren to worry about negotiating deal and recruitment while being incharge of the first team? Just get a good dof to do it for him and give Darren more control of who he wants out of who the dof and recruitment team find. Not rocket science. Darren has enough on his plate. You expect Darren on his own to do a full rebuild of good player? Thats why you have a dof. Not as simple as you think Nippy.

When did I say this? I said bring in a good dof. Not every dof is df. Bring in good player yes that's a pretty obvious thing to do if you have the money. I think we have the money but a full rebuild may cost a bit. You should be dof.
