Cros clearly didn't rate him & im not convinced that he's been injured for the past 3 months or so either. 1 in 5 goals ratio isn't bad considering he was off the bench a lot & compared to our other strikers 😂

Massey, Balmer & Conlon need to go they simply aren't good enough. I'd personally keep Cass as a back up but can't see him staying as he's disappeared. I know he has a mistake in him & is lightweight but going forward he's not too shabby & wouldn't mind him as a squad player. Thomas looks like he's on his way so opens the door for Dipepa. Or loan him out & bring another loan striker in maybe 🤷🏼‍♂️

He's never gonna be a prolific goal scorer even if he's fully fit from now till the end of the season. He brings so much more to the team though, creates space for others, can pick a pass, holds the ball up well when into his feet, links up play better than anyone else at the club, his footballing intelligence, his energy are just a number of his assets. He may not score loads of goals this season but i can guarantee he will play a part in a lot as well as bagging a few. I didn't want to sign him up beginning of the season due to his injury issues which we all know is the problem with him but the position we find ourselves in now with the donkeys up top it would of been a travesty not to extend till may. Are we really going to bring a quality player in? that's the risk of letting him go & trying to find someone else, which isn't easy in that position let alone january window

Looked sharp & made a good impact since returning from injury Willo. Levels above anyone else we have up front so let's all hope he stays injury free for a good chunk of this season now 🙏🏻 happy for him

Not sure where this Kirk being left footed has come from. He's 100% right footed but tends to play on the left side. Can use both feet but his strongest foot is his right. I'd take him anyway

you make some good points so i get what your saying in regards to he's still learning & getting game time there as there's much more competition in his natural position so it's a funny one. Remember his performance at Ipswich in centre mid 🔥 he's versatile so a good option to have 👍🏻

Flitcroft definitely come out & said Shorrock will be part of the first team plans this season, Plant is being hung to dry in that position he's not a bloody wing back albeit he's done ok at times

nothing against his loan move it's what he needs & will do him bags of good. My point being, the reason we didn't bring another lwb in apart from Grant who's hardly been fit & hasn't impressed when he has played is because Flitcroft said Shorrock was going to be part of the first team plans & back up for Grant. Shambles really when he's off to play for Stafford Rangers! Benning wasn't good enough but i'd rather have him as back up & not having to play attacking midfielders in wing back positions.

He was a first team squad player according to flickers! Another poor judgment, we've got a few great signings right this last window but some of the recruitment has been poor & beggars belief

not impressed with Grant so far. He's so slow & pedestrian, supposed to be known as someone with a deadly left foot yet i haven't seen many decent balls whipped in by him. I understand he's yet to have a good run in the side i just hope he can stay fit now & push on 👍🏻

Agree wilson gives us a lot more but overall his record in league 1 is still poor & the guys forever in the treatment room. i'd say cass & grant are suited more at full backs. Couldn't imagine Grant playing attacking midfield nowadays he's far too slow & pedestrian. Been a massive flop for me so far & another sick note. The point about the wing backs is bang on tho 👍🏻
