  1. Your forgetting Jason Lowe mate 😂
  2. Smith, Massey ( league 1 😳 ) Grant & Jones somehow all have promotions from league 2 on their CV’s so that’s not actually a bad shout 😂 Uche has played for them before but I couldn’t see even them being daft enough to have him back
  3. Stayed up on game 45 the season before this one just gone. 5 managers in less than 2 years! Slippery slope & as you suggest there’s big problems at that club going a lot deeper than some think
  4. Show Adams & Clarke some respect 🤦‍♂️
  5. If your judging his managerial career as a success or failure you have to take the whole of his management into consideration, you can’t just go off his last 2 & ignore his previous 3. Upto now throughout his career he’s had more success than failure that’s a fact
  6. Surely your not putting Vale & Huddersfield’s relegations solely on Moore? Huddersfield have been on the decline pre Darren Moore & scraped to safety the season before he took over & the damage at Vale was done long before he walked into the door. I’m not dismissing those records you’ve mentioned but it was always going to be a tough task keep us up. And Huddersfield’s results haven’t really improved since he left. I’d say a failed manager is someone who’s never had success? He’s had a promotion at Wednesday & did brilliant at Doncaster leaving them in a much better place than when he arrived. West Brom fans love him. Was unlucky not to keep them in the premier league & had them in 4th in the championship before he was bizarrely sacked. I think this next season is massive in regards to his career as a manager. Like I said anyone with a 40% win ratio or more as a manager is decent. He’s had 5 clubs, 3 have been successful 2 haven’t…. So far
  7. Pretty young side as well. Need a bit of experience in these situations.
  8. Yeah wozza has a great engine for someone his age & the amount of games he’s played & there were times he wasn’t further up the pitch where he could be a threat due to him having to be up & down so much. He was shattered in moments 😂 Got caught out a bit defensively too but worked his socks off & loved a tackle. He still managed quite a few assists that season & in our time in leagues 1 & 2. Take the playoff final at Wembley for example. Wozza right on the byline in the last minute of the game whipping it over on a plate for the other wing back Benning. It worked pretty well then mate. Didn’t Wozza get the most assists one season in the whole elf apart from a certain De Bruyne?
  9. I get your point about the promotion season. I'm not convinced. Maybe because we never signed proper wing backs for L1. I think Sang could be a good player if played in midfield. You can't expect a player to do brilliantly out of position. You wouldn't expect Messi to do well at centre back. Messi would be fine at centre back. Could play anywhere that freak
  10. I get your point about the promotion season. I'm not convinced. Maybe because we never signed proper wing backs for L1. I think Sang could be a good player if played in midfield. You can't expect a player to do brilliantly out of position. You wouldn't expect Messi to do well at centre back. True. Like Darren has just said we didn’t recruit properly for that system did we
  11. How did we get away with it? Not having that, if you get promoted you deserve it & have done a lot right. I’m not saying it was perfect & it caused us problems at times but it definitely worked over the course of that season
  12. It worked in the promotion season. We went up 😂 I get your point we looked vulnerable at times with that system but to say it’s never worked simply isn’t true.
  13. Don't know about minutes played etc. Neither guarantee goals I think we can all agree on that, but footballing ability Jamie Proctor is miles ahead of Lofty
  14. Proctor scored 64 goals in about 400 appearances. Loft 34 in about 200. Career stats. Proctor can control a ball better, can hold off a defender better. Can score bicycle kicks from outside the box. Scores last minute headers at the back post. We’ve all seen Lofts attempt of a volley from distance
  15. Exactly, but when he played for us, we did better than when he didn't. He did a job and did it well. He did 👍🏻
  16. A lot of strikers are not really that prolific in their careers in the lower leagues. Mullin at Wrexham is an exception. I didn’t say they were. But my point being Ryan Lofts record is pathetic
  17. Why will it? Even if Loft & Uche stay we don’t know what’s happening with Dipepa yet. We can’t go into the season with 2 striker so there’s gonna be at least 1 coming in
  18. Before playing for us, Proctor best season was 13 in 62 games. He didn’t score many for us either. Was good in our promotion season & got 12 goals. Then look at last season in league 2… 1 in 21 for barrow
  19. We have to be bringing in two new strikers at least & im confident we will be doing
  20. His record suggests yes, I think he can hold his own in league 2 regarding link up play & putting himself about but he’s not going to score goals. His best ever scoring season was 8 goals in 41 appearances at that level for Scunthorpe. The question is could Loft exceed his best ever scoring season & bag more than 8. I’m sure we’ll find out cus I can’t see him going anywhere
  21. He’s never scored 10 goals in a season throughout his career. I’d be shocked if he scores that many next season
  22. Crewe only dropped two places but their form going into the playoffs has been poor. Unbelievable from Doncaster to win 10 & draw 1 of their last 11 games to make the playoffs 🤩 fair play to Grant McCann that’s some effort!
  23. I’ve got some happy pills. You want some Bill?
