To be honest if any are staying they better get themselves fitter .

If on 80 grand a year that's a lot of money but in football terms maybe not.

I personally wouldn't like be the person who as to sort that mess out .

You could go through every player in squad and go

Keep release or transfer list on there showings in league 1 most haven't got a leg stand on the proof is in the pudding in fact not most nearly all .

League 2 they could all shine with right mentality and surrounded by leaders and better players,(THIS IS where Moore earns his 8 grand a week ) but still it's that habit when we have fallen behind in games I haven't seen anywhere enough drive ,determination, and will to turn games around .

Hard being a fanatic (when it takes over your life totally engrossed in every minute of every game )but no supporter /follower/one game a season person should be accepting of the way we have ended up in league 2 .

I'm not bothered what players get paid you gotta earn it .

Chislett Charlton want well give us a million DEAL he is worth that he as something about him

Garrity 1.5 million goalscorer grafter and will do a job for you ,hates losing surround him with better players you will find he is worth it

Dipepa 4 million can take players ON scores great goals .

So there's a good 6 .5 million then see what can get for rest of squad Ripley 2 relegation  in a  row 120 k the rest no value at all .

Could you value my car please?

When somebody holds their hand up and admits to making mistakes, and promises to try to put things right, and work towards getting things back on track - what more do you want? How vindictive are some of you going to be? Have you never made mistakes? Grow up...accept what's done has been done and let's see where we go from here?

Exactly this. You would think some people have never made a mistake on here. Every season clubs have to go down and some go up. Every club can't simply demand a new owner if you get relegated. Clubs make decisions- some pay off for some and some don't. This year we were not good enough. It's a tough pill to take but we will have to move on and rebuild. And I think as fans we should do our bit to support our club rather than turn our backs on it.

Where are all the happy clappers this evening. Must be hiding up Carols huge arse?

    CAROL IS THE PROBLEM.

  4. For me we need players who hate losing. Something Clarke was good at instilling. We need players who are hard workers don't necessarily have to be the best technically. Give me 11 Garritys please.

Regarding Smith- I think he can do a job for us at league 2 which is about his level and he is a local lad also so knows what the fans demand and although we do need a big clearout I would keep him.

She was the one who appointed Crosby in the first place. Why? Because he was the cheap and easy option. Not because he had any credentials to actually improve the club. She then only sacked Flitcroft because the fans basically left her with no choice, otherwise the chancer would still be at the club.

Carol's been living off her "saved the club" schtick for a couple of years now. But you can be grateful for that while also being critical of just about everything she has done since.

I know but I am referring to her most recent decisions.

I agree about the Crosby appointment. It was the cheap option. But he was a great coach and they wanted to give him a chance at management (he did ok whilst Clarke was off and you have to get your chance somewhere). It was a risk like most decisions in football and it did not pay off. Flitcroft should have gone sooner but Carol is loyal and does not rush into sackings. You say he's a chancer but remember we did get promoted with his signings. Yes he had a terrible window last year hence why I also agreed he should go.

I certainly wouldn't want to run a football club!

Big decisions to make going forward and as fans we need to back our club for our league 2 season.

Wonder if she will make an appearance anytime soon and take some accountability for this disaster? Or will she just patronize fans again and point the finger elsewhere?

Every single decision she has made in recent times have led to this.

Carol has made mistakes and it was rather naive to not think about relegation our first goal at the start of the season should have been league one safety. However many decisions recently she's made lot's of fans including myself have agreed with at the time. Sacking Crosby, bringing in Moore and sacking Flitcroft. That being said Moore has really not inspired me and although he's working with a very poor squad we seem to look worse under him. Do we give him a chance with his own players or start fresh?

  7. Well done to Carol. I imagine this was tough for her to do but the right thing. Can't see us staying up now but hopefully we can be better with recruitment from now on. Next decision is do we/Moore need a DOF? I hope people will now get off her back with this decision.

  8. A handful of games ago I had some hope and would have gave Flitcroft until the end of the season. Get rid now. Will make no difference to this season but need to start building for next and there will be a big turnover of players. Other than Garrity, Ripley and Chislett I'd put the rest on the transfer list and start from scratch.

I honestly just think were being run by a bunch of cowards ill probs get stick for saying it. Hiding behind statements and secret meetings if you want to be transparent show your faces hold a forum. Explain things. Instead were left to untangle cryptic statements that explain nothing that were concerned about. And get told basically to shut up and support the club.

I think the cowardly thing to do would to have kept quiet and not met with anyone. Have you or anyone else been to the club to ask if Flitcroft is available to have a chat? Genuinely interested if anyone has tried that as he did say he was available for that on the recent podcast and I'm interested to see if it's true or waffle.

He should have called Smith's mess-up for what it was... utter fxcking stupidity. Instead he called it a "bizarre" goal.

Protect your players in the media. But behind closed doors yes call it for what it is.

Tell me what Wilson offers more than loft of late? At least loft throws himself into tackles, puts effort in & wins headers. Don’t think I’ve seen Willo win a header all season even if it’s pin pointed onto his head he ducks or moves out the way! If we persist with a back 3 I agree with your selection I think that’s the best we go for. Looks a solid back 3 on paper but weak as piss in real time 😅

Yeah I'd agree with that. But out of the two of them even a lazy Wilson still looks more likely to score.

  12. These are the players I'd go with.

                         Ripley

          Debrah Smith Lopata

    Massey                           Grant

                 Sang Weir Ojo

                      Chislett

                       Wilson

If Garrity fit he'd be in

Walters has shown a lot more than Lowe in midfield, I think Mighten would do better than Loft up front and punch Chislett further up where Wilson plays as he is consistently our biggest goal threat.

When Garrity is fit I'd argue he's a bigger goal threat than Wilson. I've not seen enough of Mighten yet and I'm not convinced Walters would make much of a difference to Lowe. Either way Moore us working from a small pool of players who none are really a proven massive improvement on what he picked.

Loft would not be on the pitch, although I thought Massey played ok, I’d rather Sang start. Start with Mighten up front with Chislett behind him. Lowe has been crap all season in midfield so I’d have played either Weir or Walters in that position.

Loft is not good enough and I would not be starting him. But as one of our only strikers we don't have a lot of choice. Whilst I cant see him scoring he puts a lot more effort in than Wilson who has gone quiet again after his contract extension. Walters has not really shown he is ready for league one and don't think we should be relying on our youngsters in a relegation scrap.

Plenty of time to organise. Tactics and team selection were crap yesterday, if he’s as good as so many rave on here he will see where we were wrong yesterday and rectify it. Whether we are good enough is another matter.

Regarding team selection what would you have picked? I can't see realistically any major changes who else can come in other than Sang/Weir/Debrah. I probably would have started Sang but can't really say the pool of choice is that great at the moment.
