That was an amazing moment to see one of our own netting in an England shirt in an international tournament (even if it is u17).
If Spurs fancy apologising for taking Devine back I wouldn’t mind this lad Moore on loan. Two goals and his second just now was a great run and finish.

You have to wonder how that Crewe side have finished top 7. Dire.
Real shame to see them bottle a crack at Wembley and promotion.

No surprises with those released.
Cass is worth keeping imo, Uche most certainly isn’t. No idea on Wynne.
For the in contracts, bar Ripley, Garrity and Chislett and the kids the rest should have been transfer listed in the hope someone is mad enough to want to take one or two of them.
Unless the plan is to bring in 4 or 5 absolutely top drawer signings to supplement what we are stuck with then it is hard to see anything other than a battle to stay in the EFL next season.

Harrat would be a massive improvement on our current set of strikers 😬👍
A traffic cone would be an improvement on Loft and Uche.

Should have stuck with Crosby.

Rank bad management. Picked the same back line that let 4 in during 45 mins on Saturday and plays the same system we have consistently failed with all season.

1,400+ Valiants tomorrow. I salute your dedication to the cause. Absolutely incredible support after the last 12 months - more than 20% of our average total home gate and I dare say more than 25% of our average home support.

BBC gossip column reckon Man Utd want him.

Superb performance. Still need 3 more wins I guess but at least we are now showing some fight.
What a goal from Dipepa.

Necessary, long overdue decision from the owners in the face of an overwhelming body of quite damning evidence over a 12m period.
Sadly it is likely too late for the season and we face the prospect of most of this squad being here next season as well.
I would also suggest that the final act of drawing a line under this sorry episode is for Carol to retract that ill-judged, ridiculous letter from just 7 weeks ago and acknowledge she got it horribly wrong.

Yeah but the academy has been terrible up until Flitcroft revolutionised it. We never produced any home grown players. Ever.
The re-writing of history and claiming glory of other people's efforts really boils my piss.Just wait for version 2 of Carol’s letter where our beloved Flicker’s objectives will magically have included getting a player called up to the England U17s but incredibly still nothing about first team results.

Moore has been dealt an awful hand so it’s difficult to judge him this season.
But even so he has made absolutely no difference. In fact the form is probably worse.

I wouldn’t let Flitcroft near the rebuild of the paddock bogs let alone a rebuild of the squad for next season.
Sadly we are lumbered with a significant number of this lot for another year thanks to him. Given that state of affairs the first priority next season will be staying in the Football League.

That was a horror show of a 2nd half. Absolutely no impact from changes made by the manager.

Feel marginally more optimistic after that tonight.
Obviously disappointing to lose but we looked far more like a professional football team tonight than we have for a long while imo. Decent structure, played some ok stuff at times and on another day probably take a point but they’ve scored a worldie and then finished us when the game got stretched.
With more time training and playing that system you would hope we improve but we still look short going forward no matter what training ground work we do.
No complaints on the effort levels tonight but the reality is that 4 or 5 just aren’t good enough. That’s not their fault, it is what it is. There is only one man I hold responsible for the mess that we are in.

If that is a back 4 I might just cry tears of happiness.

Garrity, Gore, and Clark slot straight into that team when fit.
Pretty much the same side I would try. I’d perhaps swap wings for Chis and Mighten to let Chis cut in on his right.

Carlisle, Fleetwood, Vale and either Shrews or Cheltenham. Fancy Charlton will have a run of 3 or 4 games at some point to pull them out of the mire.

Do we really need another yet rearranged game shoved into an already hectic schedule? Might be better just to get it out of the way.
There are 3 midweeks in April we could try to push the game into rather than trying for the one that works for both Posh and Vale in March (which would be 19th March).
Personally I’d rather play that game later than today on basis it gives Moore another game at the helm and by mid March we might have a couple of players back fit.

Summer transfer rumours and speculation

Given the first pre season friendly is 5th July and the first league game is August 10th you would expect them in the last week of June to give a minimum of a 6 week pre-season.
