I know before the start of this season there was nothing that got me more excited than the thought of being 17th in the league. What dreams are made of 😍

Really hoping for a good result I think the team has it in them considering we have competed with some better sides this season. Just trying to be positive👍
It's not the team that is the problem...

To add to everything that has been said before, why when there is only a couple of minutes left, why didn't Crosby use a substitute to help break up play as the club could use an extra substitute in extra time. This was as baffling to me as his other decisions. Or am I wrong?
He even had Uche stripped and ready to come on when we had the ball in the corner for a couple of minutes just before they scored. He then sat him back down for some reason. Baffling.

Well Saturday is going to tell us a lot! Attendance then performance! It’s a tough game but we cannot keep loosing at home and conceding goals for fun. Difficult times ahead me thinks .
Attendances haven't dropped mate. We've just got our lowest ever FA Cup attendance and barely scraped 5k home fans against Derby, but everything is fine.

Schofield hasn't worked in senior football for 7 years.
Dunn was atrocious at his only managerial job.
We have a rookie manager.
There's zero experience in the dugout, and it shows.
Just seen this Joe and completely agree. Said it after the Barnsley game about the backroom team, but was willing to give Crosby a chance. He's had his chance now and royally <ovf censored> it. Get them all gone.

Him and all his backroom team have to go. I've had enough. Absolutely disgrace to lose that tonight from the position we were in. To concede two last minute goals shows what a farce it is. Everyone could see that first goal coming other than him. Less than 2k fans for an FA Cup game. All because of boring, <ovf censored>, LOSING football.
GET OUT NOW!

Swansea sack Michael Duff.
Did great work with Cheltenham & Barnsley
Would be the absolutely perfect manager for us.
As my mate said on WhatsApp "like Crozball but with goals".

I've been going Vale since I was 7.
So that's 47 years.
I've been to 67 grounds with Vale
And in all that time i have never touched the live match ball once.
Can anyone beat that?

The pitch side video v Derby........ I watched about 15 seconds, then rainbow flags everywhere. This is as cringeworthy as taking the knee. Pandering to wokeness instead of concentrating on football. I give up on the club. There is no hope.
I agree mate. Out if all the things wrong on that football pitch last night, the four bits of multicoloured fabric tipped me over the edge. I'm glad we have got our priorities straight at least. 😡🇬🇧

There are loads of posts on Twitter from Derby fans after tickets. Notwithstanding all the other reasons like Atmosphere Vale have potentially thrown away £20k+ from lost away revenue. From one game alone. Over the season perhaps circa £100k which could have paid a decent goal scorers additional wages. You do have to wonder sometimes
I won't be freezing when I have my half time píss and pint though.

That was a great night but a one-off - the Hamil has been no great improvement from the Railway Paddock for me, although it's true to say that many grounds seem to struggle for atmosphere these days.
I agree, it's crap and I'll probably move back to the Railway next season, but I think this kind of game will get everyone up to those Swindon levels again for the night though.

Well there won't be the feisty atmosphere there could have been had the away fans not been moved.
I think Swindon proved it doesn't always need back and forth with away fans. A massive game under the lights should bring the best out of all of us.

I’ve had email saying extra 500 tickets in the paddock made available after sorting it with the authorities
Good news. We need all 3 sides as full and as intimidating as possible. I know elite players should be able to block it out, but no player likes going to a proper, full, old school ground with rowdy locals.

It was the kids prices that concerned me, so I'm really glad the club have listened and helped people out. Let's hope those prices give families the wiggle room to get down the Park and get it packed to the rafters.

Just before he got injured last season he had a run of 4 or 5 games in the middle of a 3 when he was very good. He had a nightmare at Barnsley but was pretty solid after. Despite being left footed his better performances seem to be when played more centrally.
Plymouth away last season was one of the best performances from a Vale defender for years. I love DJ. Strong as an ox, got a mistake in him, but is also capable of Beckham-esque long balls.

I really hope we do. If we do then the club have called it perfectly. I can't see it myself, but hope the Vale fans prove me wrong!

I expected adults to be 20-25 quid, so I'm fine with that. It's the kids prices for me. It'll be over £100 for a family of four (with food, drinks, etc) just 6 days before Christmas. Die hards will pay it. A lot of families with floating fans will choose not to go now. The kind of fans who go to your Swindons at home. We'll lose a couple of thousand off the gate but will probably make a similar amount of money. I'd have preferred the ground full with it intimidating as possible to give us the best chance of going through. We'd make millions from a double legged televised semi-final, rather than the few thousand we might make now. Shortsighted in my opinion.

Could we sign a bell to put in the ball so Loft knows where it is?
