Aslong as it was scribbled in colourful crayon I'm sure the message would reach 🤣
Maybe we could borrow Paddy’s if he’s finished colouring in the templates for next seasons kit

Just to start it off I have a good friend who has watched a player at Altrincham a lot and he is raving about Conn-Clarke(He thinks Peterborough among many others have been watching him) Boro snapped up the lad from Barnet if i remember rightly who has since shone for them... possible target should Chislett leave?
Will fit in at The Posh - they go for double barrelled surnames quite a bit

What struck home to me was how much of the dialogue was led by Kevin, who now also seems to have been sidelined - if rumours are true in more ways than one

I had no clue what the numbers at the beginning and end even meant. Still it’s also worth noting that recruiting isn’t just an individual thing. It’s a group of players that you’re assembling. A collective. At the moment we are so far from looking like a team that’s it’s unreal. We’re more like a collective shambles. What flitcroft has done since the promotion season is indefensible
One things for sure. I can see with my own eyes that we’ve built a squad with hardly any goals in it, just looking at individual players stats tells you that. So what were our recruitment team seeing? We’ve decided to play a wingback system and we amazingly have no wingbacks. We have no strikers when we were drastically short of them in January and still are. We’ve tried to go to a back 4 and we have no fullbacks. Also we have that intangible thing of having no characters on the pitch and seemingly no togetherness. We had that in abundance 2 years ago when we went up. It’s been slowly dismantled.
But overall just look at our performances and league position. We are terrible. There’s no dressing up how bad the recruitment has been since promotion. We were hearing rumours sneaking out of the club about flitcrofts “negotiation tactics” at the end of the promotion season when players were leaving or offered poor deals. It’s snowballed since then to the position we’re in now where his free rein has seen us have the squad striped of characters and leaders to become an unbalanced mess with no one who we can feel connected to or invested in. He has to go. No ifs or buts.
I think it’s the total number of signings that season? With the listed names the ones who are deemed to be a success with % overall?
it’s also worth noting that there is considerable extra cost/resource being funded in terms of both DF salary + analysts / researchers to assemble this ‘phenomenal’ bunch.
in the boardroom Carol / Flicker can power point and convince themselves as much as they want as to reasons - distorted market etc, but other clubs have overcome these challenges and you cannot present your way out of the league table which does not lie!

No open mike contributions from the PVFC Hospitality comedy club this morning or coaches wives sound bites to rally the troops?

It's one of her reports that's not performed.
She very publicly stated in writing the exact opposite. It is only us uneducated lot in the cheap seats that can’t see how well he’s doing

Thanks Carol and DF. Chuffed you’ve managed to put together this phenomenal squad.
You 2 are so right and us fans are so blind that we just can’t see it!
and we’ve also given Robbie a nice title, and given the riffraff a free drink.
all is well in the world of PVFC, and I nearly forgot to mention your OBE!

So thats the agenda agreed then. I look forward to the next instalment.
will the measure of success against this be objective, or unilaterally decided by Carol as per assessment of DF’s performance?

Even if they do, they will have made a hell of a fist of it. They were dead and buried when he took over
Exactly!
I mean, it’s not like he will have only had 35 games to get his 50 points / borderline play off form or picked up a team who hadn’t even scored a goal before his arrival or anything!
Clearly needed a break from the game, but looks all the better for it.

TBF, most attackive players who have played 20 games or more this season have scored more than the 2 Loft and Uche have scored between them.
Exactly, but we haven’t been able to sign one! Most decent centre backs have more than that. DC did manage to go out and ge5 them through his own contacts / personality / bond with the players named.

He’s not as bad as you make out, he’s done a good job at most the clubs he’s been at on division 2, however he’s not as good as a lot make out, he has always struggled in division 1 but like Crosby, he had a very poor transfer window when we were doing very well for the first 4 months after promotion, don’t think you can blame Clarke for that.
He also blames him for global warming and the cost of living crisis no doubt.
which of the ‘deadwood 2021’ clearout proved DC wrong by going on to perform well at a higher or even the same level? NONE, but RZ can’t let that get in the way of a personal vendetta of course.
DC also had the ability to attract players who had played for him before (despite being such a nasty man) Ellis and Marty Taylor being two. Marty Taylor, for all his faults already has more League 1 goals at Cheltenham after just 1 1/2 games than Uche and Loft combined.

Congrats Carol - money well spent! All that to end up exactly where we started - but bizarrely with a worse squad than the famous ‘deadwood collection’.
