No crap squad. Any subs we make are going to make us weaker.

Mighten injured which is why he was subbed.

Lopata took a knock so would be more cautionary and to be fair Debrah played well at Reading and deserved to keep his place.

Clueless is a DoF who waited to act.

Totally agree with you. Think you’ll find that I’ve been saying for a long time that Flitcroft is the problem, and I wasn’t one who was crying out for Crosby to go, but, saying that Moore has done a poor job so far, losing us 4 points in his first 2 games. I am not saying Moore should be disposed of  as we have made the decision to give him the position. Personally I think and have always thought it to be the wrong appointment and we will go down with him but Carol and DF went with who the majority of fans were crying out for.

<ovf censored> me have you been watching this group of jelly this season?

1st game in charge 2-1 up 30 minutes to go against a team below and our squad of jelly collapsed.

2nd game. Formation changed we looked better for it overall. A wonder strike then our squad of jelly return to type.

3rd game. THE CAPTAIN literally hands an open goal to the opposition and the squad of jelly shat themselves. Very few players wanted the ball.

What is Darren Moore supposed to do with a group of senior players where the CAPTAIN has had probably the worse season of his professional career, the vice captain is sulking.

The senior players signed by Flitcroft since we were promoted are ability wise <ovf censored>, physically and mentally weak.

But yes it must be Darren Moore’s fault for the formation and training.

Common denominator in his first 2 games…..crap substitutions and we go to pot. 2-1 at Cheltenham and he makes what can only be sussed as subs pre planned before kick off and we end up losing the game. 0-0 at Reading until Moore brings on a winger for out left back and hey, we get battered down that side and we end up losing. Dropping Lopata after Cheltenham is clueless management.

Despite his goal, Smith was overshadowed by Lopata at Cheltenham. Not only that but Lopata has shown more leadership and organisational ability than anyone else at the back.

    Isn’t he injured?

I thought he did ok, won a few headers, linked up fine. Should have scored though and ultimately not at this level

No where to be seen, not in the box when we had it down the line, very isolated and his first touch every time it came near him was naff, once again he has not had a shot on target, in fact I can’t remember him having a shot.

Thought we were fine for an hour. Some decent play up top, loft, chis and mighten looked good. As soon as Grant came on we got battered. Didn’t like the subs of loft, mighten and chislett. Dont understand why he would make those changes. Last chance Saturday imo. We deserve to go down

Really don’t see what you see in Loft, he was <ovf censored> again tonight. But 100% agree with your other comments bar last chance Saturday….we are down, even if we win on Saturday.

Idk if you’ve ever seen Yak play but he looks like he’s towing a caravan even at the best of times. No way he can play left back.

You’re making excuses for Moores <ovf censored> substitutions that have cost us the game once again- Grant should never have come on at left back, for a tired Mighten, maybe but not for Jones.

    Who else have we got.

Why take Mighten off, our best goal threat tonight?

Why take Jones off and replace him with a winger?

    Why take Chislett off?

Why is Lowe on the pitch?

Loft lasted too long, done nothing

Anyway- 0-0 up until the subs, and within 9 minutes after Moore’s inspired substitutions we are 2-0  down.

Sold down the river again by DF, Moore will take us down and we are stuck with him for 5 years.

He’s not a wing back for me mate. Far too slow & doesn’t get forward enough or pose any sort of threat offensively. Hasn’t got the legs to be up & down the pitch that a wing back requires. Couldn’t beat a man save his life. I’d have him as a right back just defending but he shouldn’t really be anywhere near our starting 11 let’s have it right.

See what you are saying, but do you see Debrah or Smith doing all that?

When Garrity is fit I'd argue he's a bigger goal threat than Wilson. I've not seen enough of Mighten yet and I'm not convinced Walters would make much of a difference to Lowe. Either way Moore us working from a small pool of players who none are really a proven massive improvement on what he picked.

Definitely agree with Garrity and although Walters isn’t proven yet, Lowe has proven to be poor in midfield

Wilson consistently our biggest goal threat? Come off it mate 😂 how many has he scored this year. He needs dropping he’s been trash. He’s got 4 goals Nathan smith has 2! The fact our strikers don’t have more than 5 league goals between them is a disgrace pal. I agree stick Mighten up top or behind the strikers alongside Chislet & garrity if he’s back. Hopefully he is 🙏

That’s what I was saying, push Chislett further up replacing Wilson.

Loft is not good enough and I would not be starting him. But as one of our only strikers we don't have a lot of choice. Whilst I cant see him scoring he puts a lot more effort in than Wilson who has gone quiet again after his contract extension. Walters has not really shown he is ready for league one and don't think we should be relying on our youngsters in a relegation scrap.

Walters has shown a lot more than Lowe in midfield, I think Mighten would do better than Loft up front and punch Chislett further up where Wilson plays as he is consistently our biggest goal threat.

Thing is, he isn't anywhere near as good and lord knows what anyone is raving about. Still he may get you three wins in the next 20 games, only five years left by then. Enjoy.

We will wait and see but Huddersfield are crap anyway son despite who they have as manager they will be playing division 1 football either next season or the season after.

  13. 1 hour ago, ginge said:

Regarding team selection what would you have picked? I can't see realistically any major changes who else can come in other than Sang/Weir/Debrah. I probably would have started Sang but can't really say the pool of choice is that great at the moment.

Loft would not be on the pitch, although I thought Massey played ok, I’d rather Sang start. Start with Mighten up front with Chislett behind him. Lowe has been crap all season in midfield so I’d have played either Weir or Walters in that position.

Phil do you think he just went with the norm yesterday just to see where we are at with them? Especially as he'd only had 2 days with them.
I hope this is the case. Mind you the subs weren't great tbh neither were adjusting in game tactics to counter Cheltenham as they grew and grew into the game.
Surely he must of watched Cheltenham on Tuesday to see what they were about and how they set up, play etc. It was pretty much copy and paste from DC yesterday.
So all in all yesterday left me pretty confused, manager wise tbf

I think DM went as instructed yesterday unfortunately, well, I hope so. Yesterday along with Fleetwood were must win games, and we walk away with zero points, because of these results I think we will go down. I reserve judgement on Moore, if he keeps us up then he has done a very good job but personally I would have rather Crosby stay to the end of the season but given a decent striker to get the job done, I don’t think Moore will keep us up with the strike force we have.

No real turn around for this for DM to train and organise. Maybe one day training on Monday. So not looking good tbh.
Training however isn't needed for commitment and aggression and the willingness to win and carry out the absolute basics required for any football match.
Cheltenham aren't are a team of mega paid world beaters. They just have desire, belief and can do the basics with good effect.
He needs to motivate and organise and get some fire and belief in them and quick. Or we are doomed.

Plenty of time to organise. Tactics and team selection were crap yesterday, if he’s as good as so many rave on here he will see where we were wrong yesterday and rectify it. Whether we are good enough is another matter.

You are completely off your head

One thing I know for certain

    Crosby ain't no football manager

    He's a defensive coach that's it 😆

You seem to know a lot of certainties. Fancy letting us know what Fridays lotto numbers are?
