  1. It's not like Charlton need him they already have 3 of the best strikers in the division in may, ladapo and leaburn. I think regarding Connor Wickham I bet the feeling several clubs have tried sign him but he's waited it out till he gets a decent sized club like Charlton paying stupid wages to him every week.

  2. All I will say to anybody that's going this match, make sure you drink plenty of beer and have a good catch up with your mates or family before being ruined by the game. Yes derby lost against Charlton last night but there a good enough side to take the bollocking the manager will give them and respond well to it, unlike our crap, mistake ridden, bottle job players. I think half the fan base will be leaving at half time with us 4 nil down and the rest will follow in the 90th minute when the 8th and 9th go in. Any chance we had of staying up basically went last night throwing away that 2 nil lead, I generally can't see us winning a game therest of the season.

  3. I know some people don't like the xg expected goals stats but vale havent had an xg above 1 since the 3 3 draw against Charlton. So we arnt even creating many chances to even give us a chance to score a goal.

Fleetwood would probably be normally be happy with a draw at vale park, but with the position there in they have to come to try and win the game as a draw is no good to them.

Crowd will be very low probably looking at 3500, Fleetwood will only bring about 70 but no doubt they will score an early goal and spend the rest of the game time wasting and faking injury.

In the away game recently we lost there 3 nil and if it hadn't been for Ripley we could have lost 6 nil. That was Charlie Adams first win as manager for them and they have improved slightly but I can't see them staying up.

I'd say carlise, Fleetwood and vale are as good as down then there's about 6 or 7 clubs who could get that 4th bottom spot.

  4. I won't be renewing next season. I've got a season ticket this season and I didn't go against Stevenage and I'm not going against Lincoln either. I've basically had enough, it's boring, crap and we lose every week. You might aswell throw 350 quid down the drain.

  5. Were basically going lose a game tonight that shouldn't have even had to be replayed. Reading have had no punishment for what they did getting that game abandoned intact it has benefitted them as they have pulled out the bottom 4, whereas for us it's worse as we're on a poor run, depleted squad and now in the bottom 4. Reading are basically going stay up despite them not being able afford pay the wages or be run properly at the expense of a club being run within there means.

  6. If we play like we did yesterday then we will lose something like 3 nil. I can't see many people wanting to travel up and down the country watching this tripe, so luckily hardly anybody will be there to see this loss. I'd go with the following team but even playing this side we will lose but at least keep it to 1 nil and not 3 or 4 nil.

                      Ripley

    Sang lapota Jones debrah grant

               Ojo Walters

             Mighten chislett

                   Wilson

  7. The problem we have now is we are already scheduled Saturday Tuesday every week in February. March we have 6 fixtures already but have now got add Peterborough away and Wycombe at home to it. Were basically going be playing Saturday Tuesday every week till the end of the season. If anymore get called off after that then we could end up with a Saturday Tuesday Thursday Saturday week for playing games.

  8. Peterborough may have lost there last 3 games, but there in the top six and some of there best players have been out injured and scheduled to be back playing tomorrow night. We have 3 wins, 6 draws and 13 defeats from our last 22 league games. Our best attacking options in garrity and ikpeazu are still out injured so if we lose narrowly 1 nil or 2 1 I'd be happy, but really I'm expecting them put 4 or 5 past us.

  9. The Blackpool and Swansea fans I know say he's rubbish, but if you have played 20 games for Liverpool and some are league or champions League games then you have got be half decent. All he's got be able do really is head the ball away, as we have conceded a stack of headed goals. I'm confident he's better than balmer put it that way.

  10. We have 6500 season ticket holders but only count the ones that turn up. I'd have a guess that 1500 to 2000 season ticket holders don't come some of the games or maybe even all of them. Not many people are going pay 25 quid per game to watch this crap so the crowds are going be back to the normal 4000 to 5000 figure instead of over 7000 average we had been getting. I don't blame people for not going as it's cold, boring, terrible atmosphere and I doubt there's many sides that have lost as many home games as we have in 2023. Blackpool usually travel quite well for away games but looking at there forum alot are fed up at there club so perhaps they arnt going bring many either.

  11. Apparently Blackpool have a worse away record than us but no doubt they will canter to an easy win here. They have CJ Hamilton a winger very fast chips in with the odd goal, we don't have anybody who can deal with him and they have Rhodes and beesley upfront who will no doubt be left unmarked on several occasions to head or volley home. 3 nil Blackpool 4986 crowd 619 away fans chanting the normal <ovf censored> ground no fans, port vales a <ovf censored> hole, football in a library, we can see you sneaking out, is there a fire drill.
