Liam Gordon player profile

Guyana International defender Liam Gordon signed for Port Vale in June 2025 agreeing a two-year contract.

The former Walsall, Bolton Wanderers and Dagenham and Redbridge player is able to play as wingback or on the left of a back three.

Manager Darren Moore commented on the signing saying: “Liam is an exciting player who fits the profile of what we’re looking for here at Vale Park and we’re delighted that he’s joining us. He’s a good man and character who has wonderful qualities to his game.”

Gordon made his full debut in the 0-0 draw with Cardiff City in August 2025. He then recovered from a serious injury to become the usual first-choice on the left flank during the 2025-26 season.
