The Valiants added teenage midfielder Adeteye Gbadehan on a short-term contract lasting until at least January 2024. The youngster was a free agent after playing in the US Leagues.
Manager Andy Crosby commented: “Adeteye has been with us for a couple of weeks and he’s learning what it is to be a Port Vale player. He’s showing all of the key attributes needed and has the desire and enthusiasm to improve and develop himself within the game.
“We’re looking forward to working with him and we’ll be closely monitoring his development whilst he is with us at Vale Park”
However, after the club were refused in their attempts to register the player, Gbadehan left the club without making any senior appearances.
