Port Vale loanee receives International call-up
Port Vale striker Josh Thomas, on loan from Swansea City, has been named in the latest Wales U21 squad.
Thomas is part of a 23-player squad for his side’s home friendly against Liechtenstein on Friday 8 September and their second 2025 UEFA U21 European Championship qualifier against Lithuania four days later.
The young striker has made seven appearances for the Valiants, scoring once. Thomas, who has been capped by his country at U15, U16, U17 and U18 levels has three U21 caps already.
His call-up will mean he is unavailable for Port Vale’s home game against Burton Albion at Vale Park on the 9th September.
