Epic win though there were a few scares on the way. And well done young Garrity after an indifferent game last week – just what we need a goalscoring midfielder to go alongside Tom…

Credit to Darrell Clarke for getting the subs absolutely spot on today. Gibbons much more solid down the left and his shot off the post set up our winner. Lloyd’s pressing also had a hand in it…

Can’t believe I’ve witnessed a win at Swindon. Unbelievable. The passion of Clarke at the end was absolutely brilliant to see. Talk about pumped up. Can people get off his back and leave it to him . Two fantastic away wins. Yes, we were all disappointing last week at how we unraveled. Clarke is steadily righting a ship which had been sinking since 2017 bar a few good months in the Covid curtailed season…

I really hope people are starting to see the signs that there is definitely a decent team coming together that we’ve got. It’s going to take time but I am really excited by our team and we are only going to get better. Swindon will be right up there end of the season so today was a really good result…

I think Gibbo will now be vying for Benning’s place now, He has played left-back for us before and played very well, he likes a shot and it will allow him to get a few off on that side. Can’t wait for Saturday again now…

A great result today and if this doesn’t energize us all for Harrogate nothing will. Delighted with the performance and it certainly shows we are more than capable of competing and beating teams above us. We need to start believing and the confidence will come…

Well done all, including the management team who again defied many on here who may have felt the team selection was questionable. Vale are going to gel very nicely and in this marathon we will progressively see us rise further up the league…

Garrity is fast becoming the find of the season. Great little player with a hell of an engine and an eye for goal. Proctor has already become the crucial striker in our two man partnership. How many of us would have called that? Pett is the important cog in the centre of our midfield. Worrall now quickly growing into the WB role. Many, many reasons to be optimistic…

It was an enjoyable away trip again this week, we produced a performance in the first half that deservedly saw us take the lead. Worrall had a lot of joy down the right and that was where most of our threat was coming from, Garritty’s finish for the first was excellent and we’ve been crying our for a midfielder who can arrive into the box late…

Great game, great result. As others have said you’re not going to get complete domination for 90 mins but we were on top for 60-70 minutes, only really faltered for a while after they scored. If someone told me at the start of the season that Garrity would be one of my favourite players seven games in, I’d have told them they were mad. He was magic again today with two fantastic goals….

Garrity’s got a finish on him hasn’t he? Also shout out to Gibbons. Excellent anticipation and a quality effort that could easily have curled in that rebounded before the second…

Garrity must be one of the finds of the season – two tremendous goals. It also looks like Gibbo is back so let him have a run at left back and give Benning a rest because he is struggling a bit at the moment.
The Harrogate match is not going to be easy but I am sure that if Vale can just produce their FGR and Swindon form it will be a great match with Vale the victors. UTV.
