Deserved those goals – Darrell Clarke praises Port Vale matchwinner Ben Garrity
Port Vale manager Darrell Clarke reserved special praise for two goal Ben Garrity after his performance against Swindon Town.
Garrity got off the mark for the Valiants with a brace against the Robins, both stunning efforts, which capped another energetic performance from the midfielder.
He is so serious about his profession and he has deserved those goals…
Garrity was playing for non-league Warrington Town as recently as 2020, but Clark says the 24 year-old is determined to make it as a professional.
He told the media: “I am really pleased, and pleased for Ben Garrity as well because he does everything he can to be a pro footballer. He eats right. I know I am saying that lightly, it should be obvious, but he has tests to make sure he is getting the right food into his system. He is so serious about his profession and he has deserved those goals.”
