Port Vale post-war scoring record holder Tom Pope has agreed to move to non-league side Congleton Town.
36 year-old Pope was one of fifteen players to be released by the club at the end of the season. He scored 115 goals during three spells with the club.
Pope had been training with Congleton since his release from the Valiants.
