Scott Quigley player profile:

The tall striker Scott Quigley joined Port Vale FC on a season-long loan from Blackpool in the summer of 2018.

The forward had joined Blackpool in 2017 after a prolific six year spell for Welsh non-league side New Saints where he had netted 61 goals in 122 appearances. He had also had loan spells for Welsh sides Camarthen Town and Wrexham.

He was reunited with former teammate, defender Connell Rawlinson, who had also joined the Valiants, when he moved to Vale Park.  Quigley made his Port Vale debut as a substitute in the 2-0 defeat to Colchester United in August 2018.

He scored in a Checkatrade Trophy match at Walsall but was recalled early by parent club Blackpool on New Year’s Eve 2018.
