Port Vale have announced the appointment of Dave Timmins as the club’s new goalkeeping coach.
Timmins takes over from Mark Grew who left the club at the end of last season.
Manager Rob Page told the official Port Vale website: “I’m delighted to welcome Dave to the club as our new goalkeeping coach,” he said.
“He is a very well-respected coach having worked with numerous high-profile, full international keepers over the last few years.
“He has also worked with Chris Neal as well, which is obviously a big plus, having someone who knows him well.”
Timmins worked with future England goalkeeper Joe Hart while at Shrewsbury Town.
