Tony Sealy was a prolific striker who spent two successful loan spells at Port Vale.
Sealy began his career at Southampton and by 1979 he had moved to Crystal Palace. He was out of favour in the 1979-80 season and was allowed to join Port Vale on loan. The spell was a success and he scored six times in 17 appearances.
His form impressed Palace manager Terry Venables who paid £80,000 to take Sealy to his new club Queens Park Rangers.
In the 1981-82 season, Sealy was again out of favour at his parent club and spent a second loan spell at Vale Park. This spell was also successful with the striker scoring four goals in six games.
Aftter returning to Loftus Road, Sealy went on to have spells with Fulham, Leicester City, Brentford, Swindon Town and Bristol Rovers.
