The locally born midfielder agreed a permanent move to Port Vale in July 2018 after a successful trial period which had impressed manager Neil Aspin.
Conlon is a combative left-footed midfielder who had previously played for Stevenage and Peterborough United in the Football League as well as a spell with non-league Billericay Town. He was released by Stevenage in May 2018.
The start to his Port Vale career was disrupted by a thigh injury before he made his full debut in the game against Forest Green Rovers.
