He could always try and look like a footballer to win the crowd round. Ben Garrity attracted some criticism last season but looks like one of the best players in the division this time round and was awesome again tonight, covering young Shorrock and also finding space to score that vital first goal.

Decent performance with a much rejigged side. Shorrock looks like he has played a hundred games and agreat finish from Garrity. Lets hope we can be as good second half.

We can`t stand in their way and sometimes its best to take the money now as they don`t improve to become first team material anyway. Remember we turned down money for Joe Anyon once. If some of the money gets recycled into the first team squad to help the manager instead of match day dressing rooms or such crap then all is good.

If Crosby was to go, the man I want to take charge is Steve Cotterill, succesful on a budget and the melt down from down the road would be worth it, especially if he was succesful here.

I don`t think we are far off being a very good side and as the injuries clear up we will get some good results to push us up the table.

Wasn’t expecting a literary masterpiece or to see Vale stories (and his slant on them) I’d not heard from elsewhere in the last 40 years but it’s still an easy read and puts money in the coffers for the main event.
Will never, ever forget the Johnny Rudge’s black and white army chant at Anfield in the League Cup and seeing Liverpool fans joining in with the rhythmic clapping too. Still getting goosebumps and hairs standing up on the back of my neck writing about this now.

That was stunning, bought the video but the clowns edited most of that out during a break in play when they were putting Jan Molby back together after Robin Van der Laan tackled him.

The centre of defence will be more than ok for league 2 as will the midfield if we can keep the likes of Garrity and Chislett. It has been obvious for some time that we need to improve in wide areas and up front. We replaced Worral. Harrison and Benning with nothing or vastly inferior options. Bearing that in mind Crosby did very well.
