I’m keen to move on from talk about Clarke, Flitcroft, the bonfire that was this season. It’s difficult to ignore and today was so poor it’s a terrible advert for next season’s STs. There’s going to have to be some good work in preseason and in the market to get a lot of people interested.

Saying that there were a fair few happy to clap the players after that game in the Railway. Why, I have no idea.

Maybe the likes of Connor, Smithy, Ben, Chizzy deserved it??

    Call yourself fans

Fair play to the lads who are loyal to the club we support through thick and thin not just when we get promoted

The owners have a massive task ahead made even worse with a very fickle fan base

Ye some can't wait to jump on the hurtful negativity bandwagon. Football fans (not every1 on social media are supporters) think they can tell ppl how to spend their money

They’re employed to do a job, so yes.  The fact remains though that it’s the first team that’s truly failed so let’s hold those guys accountable.  We’ve already done that.  Sacked several managers and finally the DoF.  The fact is that recruiting these people is a complete lottery.  One look at those clowns next to the incinerator will tell you all you need to know on that score.  Whoever comes in can be good or bad, flip a coin.  Ultimately though, whoever is in the respective roles, if we get the player recruitment and development right it’ll all fall into place.  That’s all Carol needs to focus on.  Sounds easy doesn’t it.

Yes DF seems to have pulled the wool over Carol's eyes but Vale need the Shanahan family so less of the hurtful social media digs

Agree to an extent. Carol's got the club at heart and is a brilliant owner in terms of intentions. We'll always have a club with her at the helm.

But. But. She's seriously neglected the first team at the expense of everything else and has swallowed too much of everyone else's bull. A season back in League Two might actually help her/us refocus on what the main priority actually is. How many Vale fans would swap the big screen and fancy restaurant for 10 more points this season? Virtually everyone I'd imagine.

    And some would still moan

A bit of nice news. Good to see Ollie Arblaster coming on for Sheffield United in the Prem, even if it is 6-0 down to Arsenal…

Ye premier lge debut & fully deserved even though its a thrashing. Great player & seens like a decent young man

I don’t set out to insult you.

If you go to a restaurant and you pay 25 quid for a cold steak and burnt chips and the person serving it to you abused you, then I take it that you pay your bill and smile and go back next week?

If you go to the pub and have a warm pint for 5 quid and a bag of crisps out of date, you’d thank them and go back the following night?

If you went to work and those around you were on 2000 pounds a week and not putting any effort in, yet you were an up and coming lad, who puts a shift in and tries his best on 300 quid a week, you’d have no problem with that would you?

If your Mrs went out for weeks on end and you knew she was having an affair. Would you not be angry? Would you not be whiny? Would you not be a miserable son of a wretch? As you put it?
Probably just best to clap along and accept.

You see Tony, you keep debating with me.
You will end up getting personal because your debate does not stand up.

There is NOTHING wrong with “happy clapping”. Why? Because it’s everybody’s choice. People have choices in life. But I merely stated in my first post to not moan when you’re freezing in the paddock, potentially pissing in a portaloo again, after going one down against Crawley in front of 2500.

I would also suggest, only my opinion Tony, going off what you posted, is that if you’re just happy clapping for your health, then you aren’t truly invested in the club, have no fight, and therefore turn up, watch the football, clap good or bad and go home.

    Each to their own pal.
I would rather be a man and stand up and be counted and fight for this club.

    Have a wonderful day.

What a stupid statement- you haven't got 11 other chefs & 3 officials in your way of cooking the best steak & chips!!!

The question I would ask is why Alfie?

I was watching the Swindon vs Aldershot Vlog as well as Fleetwood at Kiddermister Vlog. Why pick on one Vlogger??

Ye I watched Fleetwood supporters in the home stand showing their Derby v Blackpool saw all 6 goals heard the chanting etc. Efl got a nerve coverage is useless. Fa cup Saturday Vale ad lot of chances tv showed smudges red card & burtons 2 chances - disgrace- no wonder we watch supporters videos

You dont have to go, wanting your team loose means you are no fan. Save a £1a week for six weeks then it will only mean you putting in another £19. First time we have ever got this far, you are a disgrace.

I agree just don't go, sit in armchair listen to it on the radio but don't wish a defeat - good gracious do you prefer pay £10 for a lge game v Torquay???

If they were charging over and above for an equivalent league game I’d complain, but this is a cup quarter final with all to play for. There is unlikely to be a more important home league match all season (hope I’m wrong)

Well said no pleasing some folk. Pricing as obviously been agreed by both clubs its a lge cup qtr final enjoy it get behind the team & let's see what happens. Ppl were moaning we didn't draw Liverpool Newcastle etc it still would have bn the wk b4 xmas?????

Possibly the EFL weren't aware until I wrote to them, informing them of this boy consistently breaking Rule 17 of their Ground Regulations. I also raised numerous breaches of Rule 13 ( Nobody may stand in any seating area whilst play is in progress...) to no avail, but Jonathan Gullis has promised me he will raise this with them first thing on Monday. (Gullo was extremely keen to see Alfie brought to justice although that may be due to me  telling him the lad was from Syria.)

As the saying goes, "The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing." Fortunately, Carol is a 'good man' and personally decided to intervene.

Will the same happen to all the clubs' fans that cover their football teams games then???

  11. Maybe if efl got better tv coverage wdnt have to rely on supporters YouTube channels. Thanks to Alfie we have been able to watch more highlights, player interviews & the sheer delight of supporters in the stands. Efl highlights programme can't even have studio guests ths season to discuss games. Also why as it took a cpl of seasons for this to be a 'wrongdoing'??
