Port Vale manager John Askey is confident that injured duo Jake Taylor and Cristian Montano will be fit for the team’s next fixture against Crawley Town.
The pair have been regulars in the first-team over the season but missed the game as Taylor was taken ill before the weekend while Montano was suffering from a back injury.
The pair missed the 0-0 draw against Cheltenham Town with available again Leicester City loanee Mitch Clark replacing Montano as left-back and utility man Will Atkinson promoted to the bench to cover Taylor’s absence.
