Port Vale are fined £2,000 by the FA

Port Vale have been fined by the Football Association for “failing to ensure players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion.”

The Vale and opponents Scunthorpe United were both charged after the game on the 23rd November.

Iron midfielder Matthew Lund and Valiants forward David Worrall were sent off after the final whistle of the League Two game last month.

Speaking after the match, Vale manager John Askey spoke about the incident saying: “The last thing you want is people pushing and shoving because that doesn’t do any good.
