PortVale forward Richie Bennett offered an honest appraisal of his recent form by admitting he needs to “get my head down and keep improving.”
Bennett had a strong start to the season and has already reached five goals this season. He was arguably unlucky not to score in Vale’s last match against his former club Carlisle United but the 28 year-old says he is determine to work hard and improve.
Bennett told the official Port Vale website: “I probably got in the side a bit earlier than I thought to be honest.
