Port Vale have confirmed the sad news that former midfielder Terry Miles has passed away aged 88.
Local lad Miles joined the club in 1955 and made 365 appearances before his retirement in 1968. He was a terrace favourite during his long career and will be sadly missed.

A club statement said “Everyone at Port Vale Football Club sends condolences to Terry’s family and friends. His legacy and service to the club will always be remembered fondly.”
