Spot on Rob – we don’t have to bother about Swindon for a season or longer thankfully, but I thought Mansfield fans conducted themselves with a lot of dignity. As for our players and manager – colossal spirit, guts and determination. So proud of them, and it’s great to be aVale fan today.

Absolutely spot on and I would also add a big thumbs up for Tom Conlon. He has been there for the team, in the dressing and on the sideline still doing a captain’s job whilst injured.

Really enjoyed the occasion but not the game understandably but thought the noise from both fans was something to remember. DC is a mansfield lad and we would always show respect and condolences to him but id like to think we would do it for any manager regardless of where they’re from…all the best for next season
