First signing of the summer, Jasper Moon, says his move to the Valiants was “something I couldn’t turn down.”

The 25 year-old central defender becomes Jon Brady’s first signing of the transfer window and Moon says he’s excited to get the deal done. He told PVTV: “I’m delighted to be here. Obviously I know the stature of the club and as soon as I heard they were interested I was buzzing to get it done.
“When I spoke to the manager, his visions that he has for the club I just want to be part of it. The way he spoke about the owners, it was something I couldn’t turn down.”
Moon says he had an in-depth chat with Brady and “We sat down for quite a while. Quite a lot of our values align. I thought it was the right thing to do. As a team, promotion is what we want to look for. I know that’s what the manager’s looking for and what I’m looking for.”
The defender says he’ll give his all on the pitch. He told fans to: “expect a hard working player who gives 100% and I’ll leave it all out there.”
