Port Vale manager Darren Moore had praise for his players after an improved display saw them draw 2-2 with Luton Town on Saturday.
Vale were in the lead at 2-1 thanks to goals from Waine and Cole but Luton struck back and Vale had to hold on as injuries forced them down to ten men at the end.
Speaking to BBC Radio Stoke, Moore felt this was two points dropped commenting: “probably two dropped. The reason I say that is we were 2-1 up and had a couple of chances for the third goal which would have taken the game away from them.
“We fought back, equalised and got a goal to the good, then fashioned a couple more chances. Then it was just about digging in and making sure you protect what you’ve got.
“If you look at their second goal, could we have been stronger? Was there a foul in there? It was hard for me to see so I will look back on that one.
“But credit to the boys for the way they finished the game. We’d had to adjust with Funso going off, then George Byers couldn’t continue. And Dajaune was in real pain so technically we finished the game with nine men.
“It is bitterly disappointing because, if you’d said to me we’d be scoring two goals, I would have expected three points. But although we didn’t win, we didn’t lose the game. We feel we were worthy of the three points.”

I really don’t have the patience to listen to anything he has to say.
We are still relegated what ever he says he needs to go we aren’t getting anywhere. A draw is only one point you need the three points which are crucial for survival in league one
